Everytime I watch you seamlessly transform these figures, looking like you just knew how to going in, I get reminded and amazed at the level of patience it probably took to do this the first few times to get the steps down. If that were me I'd be cussing around after awhile, lol. It always amazes me the work you put into these for us. Thank you! (Especially these 3rd party ones when you said often times they dont even come w transforming instructions!)

Personally I love the look of this guy. I think TLK is peak Megatron design and I have a great figure for that version and I’m still tempted by this guy. Honestly Emgo I think you’re the reason A LOT of transformers fans hold hobo megs near and dear to their heart so who better to judge a figure.

I mentioned this on Ben’s review. You can actually store the gun holster quite snugly inside the back of the truck cab between the seats. You want to point the diagonal tip vertically downwards with the single eyelet side to the back. It also helps to fill out the hollowness of the cab from below. It’s one of those situations where it clearly wasn’t intended, but works so well it feels almost like it was. Then that’s everything stored in alt-mode. 😁

This guy seems to be a prime example of how to do a long and complex transformation without it becoming one of 'those' transformations. Been holding out on getting a 3p dotm megs for awhile now. The AA one is one of 'those' so it was out, the UT one seems decent overall, and a good pick if this one is a tad too expensive for you, but I always thought it felt a bit 'off'. Looks like this one may end up being this year's Xmas present to myself. Thanks for the review EmGo! Tho I'm sorry it meant you had to go thru transforming the AA one again...

@emgo316, the absolute GOAT of TF reviews. Mastered the transformation sequence and made it clear to us fans as always. What a great deal of effort show us how Duel compares with the other best Meg's's, in both bot and alt mode! Also with a seperate JTI video I can depend on when I get this beast. Now, I've read customer concerns about stress marks on 'the hinges that hold the legs to the tanks' and questioning the material used due to the heft of the legs - I think the method emgo used by resting it down would take this strain off those areas so we can protect our beloved DOTM Megs from breaks.

This guy looks absolutely amazing. Love the paint and details on the figure. Really feels like DOTM Megs. He's very tempting. But the transformation looks like a chore. I'm going to transform my Alien Attack Macktron today and box him up for SALE. If anyone in the UK is interested in buying it, it comes in perfect condition with all original parts & packaging. Personally, I've really enjoyed my AAT Megs and didn't feel the UT one was any better due to the green colouring and vehicle mode being off.

I've spent a lot of time looking at the DOTM model from the movie. Alien Attack's truck mode and transformation (for better or for worse) are the closest to how it's depicted in the film, along with the robot mode's overall appearance. However Newage's robot mode proportions are the closest of the three. Your mileage may vary.
