Even though they haven’t given her much air time, someone here said the backup key was too high, and this wasn’t the best song choice for her, I certainly pray the producers see how valuable Hailey Mia is for their ratings and for her journey. Much love 🫶🏻

I was disappointed by her song a little but even with upbeat sing she still sang the heck out of it! She showed she could do this very well too! Also, Tori Kelly would make an incredible regular judge on American Idol. Can she replace Katy Perry when she leaves?!

I loved her song choice for her! She is picking songs that she would most likely record for an album. I could see her recording this for an album because Hailey is very marketable and she has The Voice fans on her side. She slayed this song as well. Great way to start the show. She brought the right amount of attitude that the song needed. I preferred this version over the original honestly. She really is a great pop star. She deserves to be in the top 5 and she will just like she did on The Voice.

I wasn't as crazy about her finals songs, though, but I think she said some songs she wanted to do didn't get cleared if I'm not mistaken. I remember on instagram live she mentioned some songs she was wanting to do, but now I can't remember anymore! She sang them on her live, though.

After I discovered these realities of producers who "manage" the songs that the contestants sing, I even forgive some songs being sung. It's not completely the singers' fault. From what I knew, producers give a list of "some" songs and singers choose from the songs given.
