Hailey's On It is REMOVED from Disney Plus????

I just found out that the show was also removed from DisneyNow much earlier than expected😢 I don't know what to say... I wanted to stay optimistic, but I think the show is most likely cancelled... There's no way for people to stream it now and people streaming the show was the only thing that was going to give this show a chance to get renewed. This is just so disappointing and frustrating - cancelling the show on the most heartbreaking cliffhanger is one thing, but to just try to wipe the show from existence is another and I am so angry about this. Yes, it's still available for digital purchase, but most people aren't going to buy the show and taking the show off of streaming stops more people from discovering this amazing show. Again, I don't know what to even say right now... I'm just so heartbroken and upset. I'm going to miss this show so much😢💔

Well here's the thing. The people who worked on Hailey's On It including the shorts are probably under NDA aka the Non Disclose Agreement. Which means they are probably not allowed to talk about Hailey's On It's future. Bill Motz and Bob Roth weren't allowed to talk about The Ghost and Molly McGee getting cancelled until after the finale aired. Granted this is a different scenario casue NDA's work very differently depending on the situation. As for Hailey's On It, I won't deny that I dropped the show cause I was so bored with it, BUT I do feel sorry for the people who do like this show. I doubt watching it on Disney Now won't do much especially since the episodes are getting removed in November, but hey, it's worth trying at least.

I am EXTREMELY MAD at Disney for this. This shows their corporate greed. I've loved Disney, I've loved Hailey's On It! Disney removing this is what makes it suspicious that they are sabotaging their own show. Also Disney has how many MILLIONS of dollars? They have plenty of money to renew it for season 2. @@allinonechrista Its official... It's cancelled. Disney did it again... Its very sad and angering to see Disney cancel a truly promising show on such a cliffhanger. While there were some ties at the end of S1, now it's up to the fans to save it. I'm sure the team is devastated. These layoffs and cancellations are the very reason why so many shows get cancelled. With the uprising of AI ( the robot uprising we once feared, but now have joined ) More and more animation workers suffer. I suppose now it's up to us to protest against it. For dedicated fans like me, this opens up a window for us to save the show. I have a hobby of animation, and with enough dedication I could write a full storyboard for a season 2 pilot episode. Its sad it came to this. I've loved Disney since I was a baby but this is a new low for them. At least give us a 3 episode finale like the Owl House!

Please stream the show on the DisneyNow website, as it is unfortunately the only way to support the show at the moment. You can also buy the episodes. I don't blame you for cancelling your Disney Plus subscription. If they're going to keep removing shows, then there's honestly no point in having Disney Plus anymore. I went on Disney plus like a day or so ago and saw that Hailey's on it was gone. This was kind of my hesitation about getting streaming services because of the fact that shows can leave at any time, but Disney plus did offer a good bargain especially with the bundle of Max and Hulu. I was quite disappointed when I saw that the show was gone, as it did look pretty interesting from the trailers, I had seen but was glad to see it is still on Disney Now (for the moment). I have not seen the show, but I probably will have to watch it before it leaves. I am all for physical media and am slowly building up a DVD collection of complete series and movies.

I'm really hoping for the best for the show, because honestly, it was a great show with fun characters, stellar voice acting, solid visuals, and smart writing. It would be a tragedy to see Disney just throw this show away, as if scrapping episodes for a third season of TGaMM hasn't disappointed us enough. At least Roth and Motz got to end it on their own terms. What would be even more aggravating about a potential cancelation for HOI is the fact that "Velma", an awful stain on the "Scooby Doo" legacy, got a second season and an upcoming Halloween special despite an enormous amount of hate from critics and fans alike and makes "Teen Titans GO!" look like an animated treasure.

Totally agree with you. I’m a 90’s kid born in 89 and raised in the 90’s and while I love streaming platforms due to convenience and not having to load a DVD or Blue Ray I will always support physical media because like you said once you buy it you’ll always have it and company’s can’t take it down. I used to think the same thing, that streaming platforms would never take down their original content but boy was I wrong about that. Almost every streaming platform out there has removed some of their original content now, it’s crazy. Thanks for the heads up on Hailey’s on it. I started watching it on Disney plus because I enjoyed it even as an adult and when I was going to finish it I noticed it was gone. I don’t know if this necessarily means it’s canceled as it could still get more seasons despite a removal from Disney plus and they might just move it to other platforms or keep it solely On Disney channel but who really knows at this point. I really wish companies would also be clearer about what’s happening with their content.

This situation makes me feel like how Paramount Plus removed Blue’s Clues & You off of their platform. I am shocked that they removed Blues Clues and You as this was one of their heavy advertisements for the platform. And Blues Clues by no means is a franchise that is small so I have no idea why Paramount did this. I am not sure if it had a physical release if not there probably isn't any way to watch it.

But another channel I watch claims that Disney deleted Haileys On It because not enugh people were watching it n the ad tier. Which means watching stuff on ad free Disney+ doesn't count toward their decisions to keep or remove something Which is ugh. BTW people keep bringing up a cliffhanger, but TWO major things happen in the final episode. Not just Scott seeing that list item for the first time, but also AJ sees the future stuff.

I’m not into Hailey’s On It but I hope for the best for the fans. And I don’t know if you read my reply about That Girl Lay Lay but it doesn’t matter because I have more to say than what I posted. Ever since Side Hustle ended, the last narrative driven live action show from Nickelodeon OR Disney Channel that stayed decent the whole way through AND isn't a spinoff or sequel series is The Villains of Valley View. And even with that show, I don't know what's gonna happen to it. It would be an easy dick move if they pulled the plug just because one of the actors is already booked for another role that's ultimately temporary and they have not one but two sequel shows to rely on. Cuz Isabella Pappas has this lead role for a Stranger Things play of all things. That show is pretty much the TTG or SpongeBob of Netflix. They're gonna milk that show for all of its' worth even long after it's over. Which IS almost over. Anyway, I’m not a broadway person at all. I don’t know how long the production of a play is or when they’re opening. I just want the show back! I have read Disney Channel's subreddit discussing this, with a comment bringing up that she confirmed she has August all to herself. The only other live action kids show that’s had this long of a hiatus that I know of was The Bureau of Magical Things, which I watched and thought was pretty good but it’s from Australia and I don’t know any US kids network as patient as whatever channel that show was on. And that’s not even getting into the show’s current status where we’ve heard next to nothing about since the end of the second season! And that reminds me, speaking of Stranger Things, that show, along with a few others, has been accused of starting a trend where we have to wait an entire calendar year or more for another season! And as far as I know, this has never happened with kids shows until the gap between seasons 1 and 2 of The Bureau of Magical Things. On the Nickelodeon subreddit, one comment claimed That Girl Lay Lay, and maybe all the other live action shows except Young Dylan probably because of Tyler Perry money and The Really Loud House because it's The Loud House, was cancelled because of child star backlash which was only reignited because of the Dan documentary. I disagree and believe it's Nickelodeon being Nickelodeon. And kids not watching cable isn't an excuse either to treat these shows badly either. Nickelodeon knew this and decided to livestream on their website using their Pluto TV channel and Cartoon Network could be doing the same on their website or app. Disney+ is actually planning on doing this. Just like old times, they could keep a solid schedule of their current shows with weekly premieres. And if this were a simulcast with cable, they could replace the commercials with newly made bumpers! I was told by someone in the comment section when I typed this pitch that Nick WAS doing this and I went there and they did exactly this by putting their Pluto TV channel there! But it's not there when I revisit it. And they also took down their app and David Zaslav killed the Cartoon Network website just to advertise Max which doesn't even have ALL of their shows, past OR present! I believe he single handedly influenced the rest of Hollywood into reducing people's hard work into practically lost media regardless of the projects' popularity! Or worse, write it off for tax purposes! Meaning not even the creators can use it probably ever again! As far as both networks’ movie franchises, I have no hope for the Descendants franchise, I’m a little worried about the Zombies franchise and even you think the Monster High movies suck. Hell, the Kids Choice Awards from this year sucked butt! I know to you, I sound like a broken record of an old man, but this has been one of the worst eras in the history of kids media. I don’t know when it started but personally, I feel it’s been this way since Andi Mack was cancelled. At least Percy Jackson and The Olympians was a good, if glaringly flawed live action kids show. And it's getting another season. I recommend it.

I really wanted to find out what was going to happen after that cliffhanger, but now we'll never know😭 Although I disagree that Villains of Valley View was the only decent show, as shows like Pretty Freekin Scary and Saturdays were also good shows - And Disney removed those shows from Disney Plus as well😠 With the exception of the Wizards sequel, Disney has no live-action shows at the moment. It really does seem like this is one of the worst eras in the history of family entertainment, as you mentioned before. Everything is getting cancelled, streaming services are removing their own shows, animators are still not getting paid enough for the work they do - things eventually will get better, but things probably won't get better for a long time. I feel like the entertainment industry as a whole has a lot of issues right now - not paying animators enough, the AI nonsense, the tax write-offs - and I don't think things will get much better when it comes to shows and movies until these issues get resolved. I can't believe that "Hailey's On It!", the most popular animated show in television history, was canceled after just one season. I wanted to watch the entire series on Disney+, but now I can't. This was all the company's fault, as well as the streaming service's! I thought the real reason it wasn't renewed for a second season was because the people behind the scenes quit their jobs. Even Gary Anthony Williams, the man who played Beta from "Hailey's On It!", might have said, "I QUIT PORTRAYING BETA! You make me sick!"
