Obviously her dad means a lot to her and for him to accept the mentoring of her by Kobe and later step back and allow her continued growth under others in HS and college says a lot about his love for his daughter. He only wants the best for her. Good story, excellent player.

Those players would kill today's players which is why the US women's national team, unlike the US men's national team, is still made up of women from that era.
