I love your vlogs😍😍😍 It makes me happy to see that your reading speed is becoming more naturally (at least for me). Before that it was just too much. I always compared myself to you and your speed and asked myself why I couldn’t even read the half of the amount of books you were reading. I myself never read more than one novel at the same time and I try to read 50-70 pages a day or sometimes 100. But more than that is just too much. I need some time to literally live with the characters for a while to connect with them and to learn more about life and to grow as a person. By reading a book in one day, this will not happen- at least for me. But I accept that everybody is different. But I just wanna thank you for all this work you’re doing♥️🙏🏼🙇🏻‍♂️You made me read again after more than 2 years of not reading anything! You’re such a friendly, inspiring person. Please don’t put so much pressure on yourself! We love you because of yourself! You as a person!!! The reading stuff comes second and is not so important.

You should totally read to best the boys! The plot also initally gave me maze runner vibes (which i loved, btw), but it's not a maze, really, only the first challenge, and even then, it has a twist. The Labyrinth is just the name of the event and it has a bunch of challenges which are apparently STEM-related

so funny you mention stepping on a cactus as a kid! when i was a kid, my elementary school backed up to a big patch of cacti (i'm from new mexico, so this is a common thing) and i was doing something dumb (as kids are wont to do) and i tripped and FELL into the patch of cacti. the school had to call my mom because there were so many cactus needles stuck in my legs that the school nurse didn't feel comfortable pulling them all out. needless to say, it was traumatic.

My whole writing class last semester was revolved around dystopias and utopias and pretty much realizing that they are essentially the same thing. One persons utopia is anothers dystopia! Think of the Hunger Games, while the citizens of the districts may see it as a dystopia, the people of the capital see it as a utopia!

**By the way ... last week I finished “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman which was a nice read. Though Ove made me mad at the beginning because of his “special” character. But at the end I started to like him. After I’ve understood why he was the way he was and how he became the way he was and how he really was which was not exactly the same he appears to be (I don’t know if my English is right, but I hope you guys understand what I‘m trying to say). After that I’ve started with the second HP book which I actually have in my hand. So sorry guys. There’s some reading that had to be done😁

I dont know if you know, but the Aurora Rising audiobook is done by the same people who did the Illuminae ones and it is also full cast. So if you liked the Illuminae audiobooks, chances are good you’ll like Aurora Rising too. (Also totally not at all jealous that you’ve already got AR!) 😱😅😍

I recommend "Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance" by Ruth Emmie Lang. Magical realism about a boy who was raised by wolves and always has weird things happen around him.

Have you ever thought that maybe you just don’t like fantasy anymore? Ill admit I’ve missed a few uploads but I haven’t seen you enjoy reading a fantasy in so long. Maybe you just don’t like the genre anymore. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Historical Fiction used to be my favourite genre and now I don’t even read it. Taste changes. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe just think about it? No need to force yourself to read something you don’t enjoy anymore.
