HI FRIENDS! I'm playing maaaaajor catch up on some videos I filmed way back in October, but I'm going to be posting them over the next couple of weeks so there will be lots of new content! I've been procrastinating on actually posting these (don't ask me why because honestly idk) which has made it so I haven't made new content, but I'm posting these to make way for that new content so there's plenty coming for the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024 💜 Also I posted on IG, but I'm obviously not going to do Bookmas this year. I plan to return to it because I truly love it, but I didn't prepare well enough so I needed a year off. I was going to try and do 12 videos but even that I'm not prepared for and felt like I would totally burn myself out if I tried. I still might try to do those videos on TikTok/IG/Shorts so those could be coming as long as I get these next few videos done!!! Love you all and thanks for all the support as always 💜

Hailey, I’m beyond proud of you for posting this. My biggest executive function dysfunction is organization and I have only had the courage to show my space at its worst to two people in my life. The shame is there, even though there’s 0 reason to be ashamed. Thank you for being willing to be vulnerable and post this. It helps the rest of us feel less alone and less ashamed ❤

I’m proud of you. Declutterring is really hard when they hold a special memory or it was a lot of money. But when it gets overwhelming with no space left for the stuff we love then going through this is best and we feel amazing afterwards.

These videos honestly help ✨ i have been struggling with depression for a long time, i have gotten better some, but i still struggle with my "depression rooms" as i call it - i hate looking at it and it gices me anxiety, but the feeling of overwhelmed always triumphs. This is honestly motivating me to do something this weekend, so thank you.

THANK YOU for making this into content and showing what your room honestly looked like! Excellent job! Looks fantastic. I have a closet that has gotten out of control in my office that I need to tackle and this was super motivating. Thank you for talking about how you are going to pass off clothes that you don’t prefer the fit of. I added some clothes to my donate bag I have going that I don’t like the fit of so I appreciate the pep talk on it.

You are such motivation in these videos. I need to declutter and organize my place too but I've just been so lacking. Love your moon shirt too, it looks like a tarot card

Really proud of you for clearing the mess- decluttering can be a real pain. I can totally relate to having too much gym clothes and needing to get rid of ones that no longer fit well.

the more you let go the more it gets easier ! you are doing a mental declutter as you declutter your home, it's therapeutic :)

You did so great!!! I'm going to try that thing where you turn the hangers around to start the year and anything I don't wear by the end of the year is getting donated.

I’m so proud and HAPPY for you that you were able to get all this done before leaving. I watched the office video too. This was perfect timing as my office is the library, office (for work & personal) and closet/wardrobe for activewear. I’ve been trying to come up with some ideas on how to get all my activewear into my closet and somehow as soon as you said tension rod it all came together. Thank you! Also, I feel the same about the Gymshark leggings. I have a few still that I love how they look - including the ones you had in red I think and purple, mine are just black into gray. However, that band and the fit on my thighs isn’t there? I don’t know. Buff Bunny has been the best fit for my body type, in particular their legacy. It’s always the waist bands I struggle with feeling too enclosed. Anyway, tangent over. Thank you again! 🖤

I recconise the pilling the stuff you need to clean up on one big pile, and stuffing them in one room. I am very guilty of this as well.😊I am also working on this so we can do this.💪❤

It’s hard to part with clothes, but unless you don’t do laundry at least weekly there is sense in having more than a week’s worth of workout gear. IMO. Sell the excess or donate so someone else can enjoy them. I’m just had to get into beast mode and get ruthless on donating.

I'm so proud of you for getting this room done. You went in with a plan and made it happen. I watched your office clean up and it is fabulous. Your doing a great job I hope you are very proud of yourself because that's a lot of work. 😊💜

Even without bookmas, I love seeing your content. This video has inspired me to go through some of my clothes. In hopes that I will be getting a dresser from my parents house soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

Watching your more lifestyle-like videos is always really relaxing and inspiring for me. Thank you for sharing these bits of your daily life! :) You were really thorough with your tidying and the guest room turned out great! I also enjoy the aside about different gym clothes as I’ve been going to the gym more and looking for more gym clothing. :) I hope this cleaning allowed you to relax more on your trip!

I'm super proud of you! This was such a hard thing to do and you did it! Your video has also given me the motivation to go and sort out my own clothes because god knows I have stuff I don't need and that don't fit anymore.

I'm loving these lifestyle videos you're doing recently, and am so proud of you for getting stuff done!! This year I moved back with my parents and I went room by room decluttering what they couldn't bring themselves to. It was extremely taxing but extremely rewarding as well. Seeing this type of videos almost makes me nostalgic haha I hope this doesn't come out wrong but I think you'll benefit from seeing a therapist that's an specialist on ADHD. For example, procrastinating on the last step of some big task (the last few baskets, or posting the videos) is a key part of executive dysfunction, and I know you've had your diagnosis for years so it's "weird" (can't find a better word sorry, English isn't my first language) that apparently no mental health professional has given you that information before. There's tons of different ways to manage executive dysfunction and no need to put you down for struggling with it!! (mandatory disclaimer: i work with mental health im not talking out of my ass lol)

I am guilty of having a "catch all room" and when I finally got the motivation to fix it I literally stepped wrong and torn my ACL, and nothing is more frustrating than having the motivation but not being able to physically do it. Wish I could be body doubling with you and this vlog!

If you don't know where to start, in the future, use the Keep House While Drowning method: do one category at a time. There's only 5 things in every room: 1. Clothes - start a load or make 1 large dirty pile by the washer 2. Dishes - put in the sink 3. Trash - throw away 4. Things out of place - put back in it's place 5. Things that don't have a home - make a place for it, or throw it away

Hey Hailey! Love seeing you posting videos again 💜. I know this isn’t my business but since you’ve been so open about things, I was wondering why moving back to Windsor isn’t an option. Your depression/anxiety seems to have gotten worse since moving to Montreal and you mentioned your boyfriend works out of town a lot so if you were in Windsor you’d have a support system of friends/family instead of being isolated in a city that you don’t speak the language. Plus if he’s working out of town flying to Windsor or Montreal isn’t really that different. In Montreal Westmount is very English speaking and there are sports team in Montreal that are English speaking if your looking for opportunities to make more friends! Having some friends would make things much less isolating!

I hope that maybe in 2024 you will go over the books you read this year, favorites, least favorites kind of thing, but i understand if you just want to look forward.
@HaileyinBookland Жыл бұрын
I do still want to talk about books and discuss those!! I hope to before the end of the year it's just been hard to find the time to sit down to film those kinds of videos unfortunately ☹
