I have the best luck just loading a picture and not putting in any prompt...but that's not using the character option. Hailuo is the ONLY picture to video AI that I actually pay for. I love it.

I can't find inflate effects on Hailou AI.

I haven't seen an inflate effect on HaiLuo. I think maybe pika or pixverse has that.

I find that the length of time to generate varies widely - maybe due to demand during certain times? Generations are also much faster for a paid account than a free account, in my experience.

It might get the facial reference correct, but good luck with the other 95% of the image. After using Kling, it's obvious Hailuo is way behind

I just ran one of those videos again, since it's released to the public, and it came out much better than my beta results. I'm not disagreeing with you... just thought it's worth mentioning since there does seem to be some improvement since I first tried it. P.S. - Love your username. 🤣

Yeah, from what I understand the public release has some improvements over the beta... and they say they're working on multi-character subject reference and object reference.

That's a tough call. Hailuo does great sometimes and Kling does great sometimes. This subject reference feature in Hailuo is much simpler, but the quality I got wasn't awesome (most of the time.) Hailuo says the public release of subject reference has some quality improvements.
