ハイパービームでリドリーを倒しに行く Defeating Ridley with Hyper Beam

ハイパービームを身に着けたサムスで冒険が出来たらどれだけ楽しい事か。。。ふとそう思い、リドリー討伐に向かう。
※ミニスーファミのセーブステートを使用してます（具体的には、部屋ごとに満足のいくプレイが出来るまで何度も試行）
最初に遊び半分で通してみたら深部の巨大空洞部屋を過ぎた辺りで時間切れ。流石に厳しいと思ったが、丹念にチャートを練り直した結果何とか1秒半残しでリドリーと共倒れ。
下準備：ノルフェアのギミック解除。最強装備を揃えた後、Xrayクライムでツーリアンに進入。マザーブレインを撃破後（アンダーフローは無しでも可）にスタート。
コロニー脱出、ゼーベス脱出、ベストエンディングの条件など、スーパーメトロイドの制限時間はやけに甘い気がしましたが、今回はかなり追い詰められた（汗）。RTAで培った経験が、RTA以外で役に立ったのは初めてかも。脱出BGMに始まり、脱出BGMに終わるのも、感慨深い（？）
For no apparent reason I fantasized about fighting Ridley with Hyper Beam, so this began. During my first casual run-through I only managed to reach amphitheater when the planet exploded, which convinced me that a Theory TAS was needed. After much preparation and stratting, Samus managed to defeat Ridley just 1.5 seconds before the end of the planet. (This is a spliced run using the savestates on the SNES Classic)
Preparation: Collect the necessary movement items. Solve all the gimmicks in Lower Norfair for faster traversal. Enter Tourian using Xray-climb. Can optionally perform Mother Brain underflow to get super missiles.
This was the first time any "timer" in Super Metroid really posed a (significant) challenge. It is also the first time my speedrunning skill actually paid off in a non-speedrun context (at least I deem it so). Fittingly the quest begins and ends with the escape theme. What a nice touch :)

Actually notice the timer started malfunctioning at ~1 minute remaining, after the player went through that door. Even if you offset the timer by roughly 2 seconds per each door (9 doors total yielding an additional 18 seconds) the timer would've actually hit 0 right when Samus entered Ridley's room. So technically the planet was self destructing the moment that fight began. The entirety of the short lived fight went down while the planet was fissuring and fracturing. It blew apart as Samus finished Ridley... AGAIN.

I dunno. There were parts of this that don’t seem possible. Moving unnaturally fast or in ways the game doesn’t usually allow. Whole thing looked weird. Plus the glitch part is so weird. How do you end up in the tunnel by glitching through the ceiling outside the door?

Ridley has 18,000 hp. Hyper beam does 1,000 damage so he can take 18 hits. Ice, wave, plasma charge shot does 900 damage, super missiles do 300x2 (double damage) so he can take 20 charge shots or 30 supers before his hp = 0.
