I saw the video icon and then saw that your hair is 4c and automatically i needed to watch this lol theres not a lot of videos out here for our hair type especially the ones that have good outcomes. Your hair came out really nice! Like its so defined and bouncy. Hoping for the same results lol *fingers crossed*

I am 4 months natural and I also have 4c hair but twa. I don't like to use gel and I just could not get any definition when styling. I just tried it your way and I am so pleased with the result. I have never been able to achieve curls, on my natural hair, with bantu knots. Last night was my 3rd time trying. When my hair was relaxed I used bantu knots a lot if i had to go somewhere special the next day and didn't have time to get my hair done. I'm going to try the tips you gave but i think i'm going to give up if this doesn't work!! Also, your hair turned out beautifully!!

My hair is 4C also and is the worst and keeps coming out the same no matter what style I am going for but my styles are getting cuter with the cantu Shea butter products but I still need for my styles to do as I expect for them too. Your hair came out so nice. I'm walking around for here like I have a jerry curl or naturally curly hair after doing a twist out, so I need help because I'm coming out too curly. Either I'm nappy headed or now I'm curly headed, what's up with that. No length at all, even though my hair has grown three inches it looks like it hasn't budged after I have styled it.

1 Start with stretched hair(not blow dried-stretched out naturally by braid outs 2 Use thick creams not leave ins or conditioners/ shea butter is perfect 3 Small sections better definition 4 Separate naturally and carefully 5 Use plastic pic to fluff roots and shape

Love it! How do you maintain this style & still moisturize it everyday?
@Tanialoves9 жыл бұрын
Hey love ! Thanks for watching . I put it up in a bun over night and then if I need to add moisture I spritz my hair lightly but because I moisturize and seal after I wash my hair will still be okay . My hair is growing longer so it's so much easier now to maintain the style ...it was a little bit harder when I couldn't put my hair in a bun so I would retwist or banttu and spritz my hair. You can check out my blog www.tanialov3s.com and see what I have been doing to grow my hair longer . Also I have been doing this method for 2 years now my hair is used to it and it's getting harder to disrupt the curls...

Gorgeous results! I have given up on trying bantu knot-outs, but maybe I can get my stylist to try this as I SUCK at flat twists lol. Question- you mentioned your hair was pre-stretched.... was it fully dry before you set this, or was it damp?
@Tanialoves9 жыл бұрын
Hey love ! Thanks for watching. So what I did is washed my hair.. moisturized it and sealed .. thick twist to stretch it . You don't have to do that . Bantu knots come out more defined if your hair is wet however drying time is extended. So I just do it on damp to dry hair. If your hair is dry just use a spritz bottle to add moisture to your Bantu knots. I don't know how to flat twist as well it's just a way to separate your hair to reduce frizz. Please do it until you kinda master it ..it will definitely help you...it took me a while too but now i know I can do something to my hair that works & can depend on for great results....looking forward to see your results 😛 . Even if you don't twist the root just make sure you're twisting properly and using thick butters ..😘😘...the combination of the butter and gel must be just about right...I will posting more videos soon xoxox .
@pearlsamb82999 жыл бұрын
+tania Loves thank you so much! In the past I tried bantu knot-puts with wet, damp and dry hair, and I normally do twist. That's funny we stretch our hair almost the same way except I plait in plaits lol. I'll definitely give this a try, with damp hair and that shea/gel combo like you did :)

Hey I'm wouldn't say I'm new to the natural world because I've been natural all my life but I always wear weave (crochet) because idk how to deal with my natural hair my mom has cloud like hair it's so soft and fluffy but it's thin and it grows soooo fast and my sister has more of a straight puffy type hair but I have thick coily hair like its hard to comb and it falls out easily I wanna wear my hair natural for a while twist out type of thing how should I take care of it do I use shea butter and olive oil like my mom because the coil creams always with flake up or by the time in out of school (I'm a freshman) my hair is frizzy like thick frizzy it's cute to me and other people but I really want that curly thick type of twist out I think I'm a 4c and my hair will never stay down like my edges always bead up and never lay down help with that 2 plz
@Tanialoves9 жыл бұрын
+Elesha Latham Hey love thanks for watching. i think i know what you mean because it sounds like the first 2 years of my journey....... when it comes to taking care of your hair you need a routine this will help with getting your hair moisturised which makes a difference when it comes to styling... check out tanialov3s,com for my rough draft .... however when it comes to styling i use shea butter, homemade oils and gel ( with argan oil). i use my oils to moisturize my hair and shea butter to seal/ ( this is very important and make sure the product penetrates your strands and not just sitting on the top layer of your hair ) 2. the combination of my homemade shea butter, twisting method and gel gives me that long lasting definition no matter the size of my twist. 3. edges i always use my shea butter to lay them down and then i run a tooth brush under warm water and then apply cream of nature with argan oil perfect edges for that long lasting lay down lol ..... tie a scarf while i get ready. ....Now when it comes to my edges i don't really mess with them that much so i always try to style my hair in a way that protects them cuz they are recovering. i think I'm going to a video addressing your question and others i have received so far . keep doing this method. i promise you will get results.... but the shea butter thickness as well makes a huge difference. i hope i answered your question, if not please let me know.

be patient and learn your hair what works better considering it's length and texture. also remember everyone's hair is different and not all styles can be achieved . experiment and keep trying different combinations till you find what works for you.
