HAIR COLOR DISASTER! : My new hair color.

OK just to clarify (because this video is a bit messy I KNOW haha) : 1. The new hair dye that I´m now using is called "Schwarzkopf Natural And Easy" and It´s in the shade #568 "Intensive Red" 2. I then "toned my hair extensions" into a cooler shade and I used a violet semi dye from La Riche Directions called "Violet" mixed with a hair mask. 3. I did NOT do anything to my own hair in this video because it was already the shade I wanted it to be. 4. I only use the Revlon Nutri Color Creme in #600 on MY OWN hair to keep my hair that vibrant (because I wash my own hair a lot more often than my extensions so the hair color dulls down a bit without some pigment). 5. I have not yet dyed my OWN hair with the new hair dye but when I do I will do the same thing with the violet "toner" to make my own hair match the extensions. 6. We don´t have any beauty supplies stores here in Sweden like Sallys so I´m not able to buy developers and stuff like that so I´m forced to use boxdyes.. ( I don´t trust amazon/ebay or whatever when it comes to hair dye..) 7. My "base shade" is a dark orange shade so if you in fact want my hair color, and you have black/darker brown or brown hair you will have to bleach it if you aren´t already blonde/lighter. I’ve never gone to the salon to get my hair coloured. I feel uncomfortable in general going to those places, like I’m not stylish enough/rich enough/ sophisticated enough. I only get my hair trimmed once a year at a cheap salon. And I dye my hair all on my own. It is so much fun and I love doing it! 😊😊😊

@@MsMeowmix666 Leah oh how I wish I could agree you you, seriously. I'd say 70% of my visits to get my hair done over the decades have been at high-end very expensive salons. When I am disappointed more than twice I switch places/stylists and let me tell you it happens A LOT. Last time it took 3 appointments 2 cities over 400 € to correct their mistake (my all natural dark blonde going lighter should not have been a disaster at a high end/highly rated salon). I ended up fixing it at home myself yet again.

You got to go to a hairstylist who specializes in bright colors! Search social media for someone . If they can do every color in the rainbow, they’ll give you RED red. I promise lol

I had your haircolour for ten years-and I used Elumen by Wella-lasts the longest time if u want to have really good red hair and not washed out.You take the elumen RR and a little of the elumen RV (I would try on an old extension maybe 50 ml red and 10 ml red/violet or 5ml).You have to figure out which one you like.for winter I mostly put a little RV in and in summer to get it brighter I mixed RR with a little PK Elumen...But that is the BEST way to keep your hair shiny and healthy..the colour lasts for many months without washing out(except you swim in chloric water).Greets from Berlin

Milk+Blush has a super pretty color called "I said Red" it's a gorgeous like red velvet color, it is a bit cooler than your haircolor but it matches mine perfectly, as seen in my prof pic (I have a cooler complexion and I feel like a more pink or purple based color looks better on me) just thought I'd mention it for any other red heads with a similar color so maybe I could save yall some color struggles, sadly they dont ha e anything brighter which sucks cuz I personally love to go lighter and brighter in the summer but its whatever lol

I love your hair color girl!! Ur shade has literally always been my absolute number one favorite hair color!! I use the loreal superior preference RRO4 intense dark red whenever I'm able to find a box cuz I can almost never find ANY red dyes in my area that are even close to ur color...unless I was to go like RED with one of the feria dyes...but those are not even semi natural looking cuz they're just too much of the color. The Feria red is more for someone who wants their hair to match a cherry red car color and not for someone looking for a vibrant but semi natural looking hair color!! And I'm just not that daring, and my skin color would look so washed out with a bright RED red color!! But anyway, I just leave the loreal dye on for about 35-45mins instead of 20-25 and I get a color that's slightly darker than urs (but I dont do bleaching or lightening either and i have very dark brown hair to start with so that's probably why it's always a bit darker than I'd wish it to be) but now I will have to see if I can find the shwarzkopff color since now I know what color to look for!! Wish me luck that Im able to find the shade!!!

Only works on processed hair just FYI👍🏼 Is there Sally beauty supply where you live? Seems like it would be easy to find the right warm toned red then play around with developer levels . I’m a DIYer too😺

While box is bad for you hair, you can go to your local beauty supply store and get the dyes there, normally it’s 1:1 dye to volume 20 developer. You can get the same color for about the same price and do it yourself. :)

Tänkte bara tipsa dig om att man kan köpa frisör hårfärg och väteperoxid från barresso. Är själv rödhårig och har en rödviolett hårfärg och har testat både wellas och igoras hårfäger och de är supebra. Sanningen är faktiskt att hårfärgen från affären har mycket starkare väteperoxid som sliter på håret i längden.

your hair is a purple/burgundy undertone though. Your extensions were a copper/orange under tone and by putting the purple toner on your cancelled that out and created a purple undertone..

As a professional hairstylist, I feel bad that you haven't had a good experience with color. Also, from one redhead to another, reds are some of the hardest colors to master. Maybe going to a master colorist will leave you with a better outcome.
