Hair cut anyone?

It's nearly sale time for our spring born calves which means its hair cut time! We like to present them well so we take the time to prepare them. A few cows get a pedicure.

A good animal dresses themselves , but when you put the finishing touches to them it makes them dance around the ring . FANTASTIC stock and testimony to hard work , great breeding ,excellent stockwomen and men.Well done ,you should be rightfully proud .

I am not a farmer but enjoy summer country visit whenever I can, however I love the fact you and your team keep your sheep pens and sheds as clean and fresh as possible . Savage calfs, great breading .of course the irl cow's help to haha, i had a herd of sim pb cow's great cow ,but always feet problem, when crosed with sa and sh bulls no problems, keep up good work.

In Russia, in our State, prices for live weight of fat bulls that were fed are 2 dollars per 1 kg of live weight; bull meat is bought at the slaughterhouse for 4 dollars per 1 kg of meat. Fat heifers cost 3.5 US dollars per 1 kg of meat. In our state, wheat costs 10 cents per kg, barley 9 cents per kg, corn 11 cents per kg and peas 15 cents per kg. In 2023, I bought bulls for breeding for my cows for $900, 1 bull aberdin angus 6 months old. The most expensive are Limousin bulls, they cost from $2,600 US, 1 head, 1.6 years old. Belgian Blue bulls cost from $3,000 US, but Purebred Belgian bulls are very difficult to find Therefore, it is better to do artificial insemination.

I also inseminate my young cows and heifers of the Mongolian and Simental breeds with Aberdeen Angus bulls whose fathers gave more bulls than heifers at test calvings. I inseminate large cows with Limousin and Belgian Blue bulls. On average, I get 70% bulls and 30%
