I done the same. My hair was just past my shoulders when I decided to have a perm, the hairdresser left the perm lotion on far too long and my hair was ruined, no amount of conditioning treatments helped. Eventually, having had enough, I got the clippers out and with an 8mm attachment I took all my hair off. Much to my surprise I loved it, there is something strangely empowering about shaving so much hair off in one go.

I have a very short pixie. A step above a buzz cut. Love it! Dont care if the wind blows, dont care if it rains! Hate that hairdressers think they have to put products in your hair all the time. I dont put anything in mine.

I had a friend who was a licensed hairdresser and I said I wanted it all off. So she gave me the most amazing spikes! I haven't turned back. The boost it gave to my self confidence can't be described. You keep doing you. Do what makes you happy. It's just hair. It'll grow if you decide you don't like it short anymore 💚
