A year ago, a salon destroyed my hair, left me with patches of hair, gave me chemical burns... and I'm finally telling the story. I also finally got a hair style I could be proud of again (Thanks Aveda Canada & Civello Salon Queen Street)!
From asian black hair to an icy blonde, I'm finally revealing why I stayed quiet, what happened, and how I finally feel confident with my hair again :)

Aw thanks girl! I'm sure your blonde also looks amazing! I use purple shampoo to tone down the brassiness and make it more of an ashy blonde. I find it helps :)

It was heartbreaking and definitely frightening because it was my first time ever dying my hair. The first salon (that ruined my hair) was called "My Salon On Richmond" here in Toronto.

Hey Mel! I just had a hair color disaster today. your hair turned blonde so well in one try! Do you remember what level and developer they used on You? I'm going back in Saturday to have it fixed.

Ah! So sorry I missed this! I think they used a 20 volume bleach but tbh, I didn't watch her mix it. I'm pretty sure it's all Aveda products though. Hope your hair turned out! I definitely know the feeling of a color disaster.
