Hair Dryer Sound 33 | 1 Hour Visual ASMR | Lullaby to Relax and Sleep

I’ve bought another old vintage Morphy Richards hair dryer from the seventies in order to record this hair dryer sound video.
That blow dryer is an old Model 4822, made in England in 1976. It’s still in working order, although it’s a little bit rattling in some situations, for example when you shake it from side to side. In spite of being more than 40 years old, it still produces an amazing sound. Often old hair dryers are like a fine wine: the older, the better.
I’m a hair dryer collector and hair dryer sound addicted. I’m glad to share my healthy addiction on Internet: I believe that white noise is a powerful resource to relax and sleep, and that hair dryer sound is the best white noise to achieve that goals. A true technological lullaby indeed.
This is a 1 hour long video, performed with slow movements in order to trigger a visual ASMR. As usual, it’s a binaural recording too, so use headphones in order to get a better experience.

It's early morning, 6:25 am. The bed is warm, but outside of the bed is chilly. It's still a little dark before the sunshine. A distant sound interrupts the peace -someone in the house is drying their hair. Though you just woke up because of the sound, you find the sound oddly soothing, and soon you're lulled back to sleep by the monotonous hum of the hair dryer.

My favourite sound ever!!! .... I had my childhood in Soviet Union and this sound brings me back to my early days when my Mom used to strike my hair gently while drying it with fan.... over 30 years flown by so fast, no Mom around, no USSR, no cloudless days of childhood... but one day I heard this very sound and like in Time Machine it returned me back to my bedroom.... my head's on my Mom's knees... I'm falling asleep so sweetly....pleasant sound, soft warm air ....life is wonderful....

Mine has been linked with my childhood with my mother drying her hair early in the morning before work as I lay warm in bed listening. Mine is similar. My childhood memory is of me sitting on a wooden stool in the bathroom with my blankie wrapped around me and my mother blow drying my long hair. I would fall asleep almost every time. And if I didn't I'd ask for more, and she would just move the blow dryer around my head, since my hair was already dry. :D

Well, I once got home from a pub crawl when being abroad and was mediocre drunk. I had the idea of having the hair dryer next to me in the bed and fell asleep! The next morning, it still ran and I was alive. Two days or so later, when using it after having a shower, many sparks flew out of where the cable is connected to the dryer and I had to unplug it so it won't hurt me. You could argue, I could have died that first night there due to fire or the electricity but I'm still here. Definetely made something with me when I realized my luck 🍀

It’s weird how everytime I hear hair dryer sound I get goosebums. In my head everytime I hear it I feel warm air surrounding me. My sister and I would during the winter and really cold days let hair dryer warm the inside of our blanket as we were snuggled in it. And every time I felt like the happiest person on earth, bc I was with my favorite person, with warmth and the this sound pulling me to sleep. Magical. Thank you for your hard work on this! this sound reminds me of when I was 6 or 7 years old in primary school, waking up for school but my mum is up really early doing her hair at 4:30 AM because she had to go somewhere, waking me up accidentally, then soon switching on the hairdryer and i was passed out in a matter of seconds, i felt so cozy, so safe and it just clicked straight back to my head as soon as i heard this, thank you.

I live those sound, i have every day my hair dryer on. I live how the cold or warm wind goes intonmy face, on my body and more. Let me think back when i was a baby and wet, for softer skin and no wound you should use a hair dryer said the nurse from Hospital. It worked till now. It's a snowy winter, on a Wednesday evening late at night, the streets fill up of darkness and you finally feel some sort of cosiness in your household. You hear the dreadful weather of rain slamming down onto your hopeless but sturdy rooftop. You finally equip your headphones and switch on this same hairdryer sound we're all currently listening to. You hop into bed dreading the time to wake up. After a sleep which felt like 2 minutes, you finally rose back to the average lifestyle of what you've always known. It's been already a full year since I've fortunately found this miracle of a video, which I just cant lay my ears off. Thank You.

When you bend the hair dryer and it makes a little interference sounds in the mic, it give me goosebumps and the asmr effect at the same time. I think its the best thing of it, followed by when you obstruct the hair dryer with your hand and moving around, with headphones on you can feel the movement. I have a playlist with all your versions of this sound, a 25 hours hairdryer playlist so it doesnt end when i need to relax. It reminds me to my childhood when it was winter, i had to wake up for school and my mom was drying her hair, i covered my head with my sheets and my blankets and i had my heat bunker with a relaxing hair dryer sound till she turned it off.

This to me is like vacuum mixed with air conditioner. Usually when I hear hair dryers being used, it’s my mom or aunt or cousin shaking them about wildly trying to get their whole head dry lol. Even though I'm not as old as everyone else in the comments, I just feel nostalgija from this and many other videos. I still remember waking up in the morning, going to my mom's room to pet the dog and sit next to my mom as she blew the hairdryer. Those moments are one of the most relaxing moments I've ever had. Ever since I moved to a completely different country and I'm probably gonna have to repeat the year in school, this sound just is so calming.
