Hair dye reactions : Causes, Diagnosis, Symptoms and Treatment

Exposure to hair dye has long been known as a significant risk factors for the development of allergic contact dermatitis among the exposed population as these lead to savere eczema of the face and upper trunk in the consumer and hand eczema in hair dresser.Currently, para-phenylenediamine (PPD) is the main ingredients used in permanent hair colour products in the market and is the most important allergen. Prevelance of PPD sensitization is high in patients with contact dermatitis across all continents, with hair dye use being the commonest cause.

I tried VIP color over beard. Since beard was short I applied for 3 days and noticed severe itching and noticed I was unable to sleep. Sounds interesting ? Right. I tried searching all over internet if there is any connection with sleep disorder. I even tried searching the reviews with a hope if anyone would have faced the same problem. Then I didn't get and stopped using VIP color. Then 6 months I tried Garnier Hair color on the short beard. For 2 days no issues. But then again after 4 days (using at night for all days) I faced that sleeping problem. The itching was there but not severe as experienced with the VIP color. I just wonder how come coloring beard is affecting sleep ? Does anyone have experienced similar problem ?

There is a treatment coz I have got this allergy in global hair Color. .. dermatologist has given me medicine and cream and told to shampoo daily before shampoo I have put oil on the face and neck becoz the allergy went to my face and neck … like they have a shown a picture on the video .. same I got swelled eyes and forehead and neck with small pox all over my head and neck and ear

My dermatologist has told me use few brands I can share coz I can’t use any hair Color .. I have got allergy with big brands like L’Oréal and schkrowf … Vegetable biocolor Fiducio hair Color Cuticolor These three brads she told me use as they contain less amount of PPD Thanks
