🌸 Event Highlights: "Hair for Hope" Breast Cancer Awareness and Hair Donation Event
On November 10th, Pragya Panchanathan and Madhusmita Nayak, in collaboration with Zulekha Hospital Dubai, hosted an inspiring event titled "Hair for Hope". This initiative focused on raising awareness about breast cancer and encouraging hair donations to create wigs for cancer patients.
🌟 Why It Matters
💡 1 in 8 women (13%) in the U.S. are likely to develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
🌍 In 2022, breast cancer caused 670,000 deaths globally.
🙍♂️ While rare, 0.5-1% of breast cancer cases occur in men.
Breast cancer can affect anyone-someone you love or even yourself. Early detection through regular screenings and timely treatment is essential.
