Thanks for that! You really should check out more Superfruit. Most of their stuff is great singing mixed with humour. The Frozen medley, GuyEXE, HipHop Goes Broadway, are all fun. Lost On You, Rise are more serious and then there's their Future Friends album.

This was fun. I'd seen the SuperFruit and PTX before, and I heard the originals years ago. This shows how impressive Mitch's voice is in its ability to switch from high to low registers seamlessly. Morissette has a great flow on the highest notes, but when she has to scoop down to the low register you can really hear the change in register, and sometimes on the high notes she's belting and sometimes not, which I find jarring.

Thank you! They have different techniques. This is why I prefer listening to sorta raw recordings with no or minimal post processing.

If you're talking about superfruit, yes they were. The crazy thing is they sounded just as good if not better than the original singers.

I know idina's a legend since she originated the roll, but she was flat all over the place and her tone was more yelling than pretty singing. Not to mention both Scott and Mitch going higher than both Broadway trained singers with great tone, shows how good they truly are. Especially since they were just joking around and made it sound good. Morissette is good too but she put more of a pop spin on hers. Mitch will always be my favorite elpheba.
