the moto Ski bullet was a real advanced Sled for 1971. They had their problems, but they had the right idea. We raced Skidoo's back in that day and Our race skidoos were way behind the Design of the bullet.

I loved that polaris storm with the 800 pistons. That sled sounds bad ass. Reminds me of my 95 xlt. Funny how the owner had a yamaha jacket on. You should have gave him some shit about that Nutter!

@mylanmiller965615 күн бұрын
it depends on the Conditions of the track you are running on, I oval Raced a Skidoo 5500 back in 1979 and was Clocked many time at over 75 mph. on that 500 CC fan. The SRX racers were a bunch faster than my stock Fan cool.

My XLT 580 has DG pipes and they sound just like that storm. You can't even find information on them so good luck trying to find a set. Are they ever designed well though. Not a spare square inch of space under that hood.

what are the details on that Dauphin? (dolphin?) Year, model? Looks remarkably similar to my mom's 1971 Somovex Chimo that she got when she was a kid. Somovex was a company in quebec that was only around for about a year. It has a 10hp/150cc husqvarna engine which is what this also appears to have. I'd be money that thing was built by somovex. Should see if the gas tank says somovex on it
@nuttersspeedshop15 күн бұрын
Rick explains that in the video.
@rickproehl271615 күн бұрын
@@andrewthacker1389 your right,built by somovex.they are pretty much a chimo with different body parts.the dolphin flipper never went into full production.jc penny had same basic chassis called mini sno tamer
@andrewthacker138915 күн бұрын
LOL I finished the video, I see you went back to it. I was right, it was made by somovex, cool. I think they only made 400 or so of the Chimos and they also made some for JC Penney called the Snow Tamer which were the same. Learned something new. Those 10hp husky motors actually rip pretty good. Btw, Dauphin is french for dolphin
