I've heard the african pride prepoo is super good for detangling 🤔 I found that TGIN was too heavy for my hair also. I think it's the castor oil. Is that the almond twisting butter? I like to mix it with gel when twisting or else I find it's too heavy. I get what you mean about fragrences being too strong. There's definitely a few products I stopped using because the scent started to give me headaches. We're the opposite on coconut. I love the smell, but my hair hates it 😅

Is the 'african pride prepoo' the name? I'm gonna look it up. Ya, I didn't notice how thick the tgin was, until I finished the Mixed Chicks and switched back to the tgin. Ya, it's prob the caster oil. Ya, the one I didn't use is the almond twister. Umm! Since I have gel, i'm gonna try that! No way, LOL! It's so interesting. Does your hair like Argan or jojoba oil? I saw people using those as replacement for coconut. I've only seen people either love or hate coconut. Lol...ya....fragrances and scents have been nothing but a kill..

@@zizionthegoYes, I believe that's the name of it. There's a bunch of reviews on youtube so you can see if you think it'd suit you before committing. I think olive oil is honestly best for my hair! Jojoba is fine too, and I haven't tried argan. My hair tends to feel gritty with raw oils or even oil blends but if they're formulated into a serum or leave-in that seems to do the trick. 😊

@@esthertjones Thanks. I'm gonna check it out. Nice. Olive oil is amazing! I can see that. Sometimes oils become more effective when they're formulated well with other inredients.
