It blows my mind that Lord Hair discontinued this amazing model. I emailed them asking why and they had no explanation. They seem to be pushing the terrible poly skin systems, probably because they're cheaper to make. I explained that this is the most realistic stock system and they just kept pushing me towards getting a custom system - that has a 3 month wait. I purchased their Champion unit, which is supposed to be medium light density, it's more like extreme heavy density and terrible hair quality.
@alexandersam61102 жыл бұрын
Same here man. I hate how realistic low density systems are only custom 3 months, while the fake looking ones are the stock. FRUSTRATING!
@patrickjmoynihan4 жыл бұрын
They both look good to me. I agree the lighter density looks better and more realistic however. It’s a bummer that just about all stock units are medium light at the least and also Cc contour at the least. You’ve proven light density and A contour is a good combo. Gotta go custom and wait a long time .....
@armandom44714 жыл бұрын
Agree, i order from a company that has a contour that's not too heavy only 90% as their stock it took me a while to find but so far I'm happy

Did lordhair stop making the air model? Couldn’t find it
@seand55174 жыл бұрын
You absolutely need to stick with the lighter density systems. Your side temple points are not super thick and you can even see some thinning in them so a super dense system on top of that just won't look right and match up. Good video though. Informative. Also do you think the color for your units is slightly off? Seems like in some other older videos they were lighter/a tad blonder whereas here they look a bit too dark.
@panthertrain19844 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the input! So as far as the color, I think a couple things are going on. A. Is the density, light density definitely looks slightly lighter in color because there just isn't that many hairs plus the fact you see more scalp and can also notice the graduated hairline and B. Lighting makes a huge difference, these segments were filmed different days, so lighting was different
@alexandersam61102 жыл бұрын
I 100% agree with Sean. You need a lighter density cause your bio is thin brother.
@bridawg244 жыл бұрын
Have you considered going shorter on the top? Like 2-3 inches. It would look a lot cleaner than what you have going on now. The wet look also works a LOT better with shorter hair. Especially on the system with more density.

I like the light density air model better than the medium neo model. Air looks more natural than neo. In terms of maintenance are both models easy to clean up?
@panthertrain19844 жыл бұрын
Yes both are easy to clean up, I would say the Air model is slightly harder because it can take more time to get the bond off the unit. I'm torn on the Air model because it truly does feel amazing, but it sheds A LOT, it's perfect for someone who doesn't mind going through one new unit per month

@oscarmanterfield91794 жыл бұрын
What glue do you use on a lace system?... very tempted to try air. I was about the place an order for a S1-V with Remy hair and a light medium density. My only thoughts are that the air has a 90% density and the custom S1 has 80% plus currently has a 10week order time. What poly custom system have you spec?
@lillydog124 жыл бұрын
If the scalp is visible, does it look natural or will someone suspect something? I'm a diffuse thinner and my back and sides are thin, so I like the idea of a low density unit, that shows some scalp.

Great info! I’m looking into Lordhair for different options. I’m 5 weeks in with a system from Curtis. I’m having so much trouble with the bond and the front hair line. Do you have issues with your bond? My hairline raises in the shower every time and I’m worried about getting in the pool.
@-The-Golden-God-4 жыл бұрын
Another MHE user here. I had exactly the same problem with my Swiss. No matter what I did I couldn't get the front to stay down for more than a day. The bond stuck to my scalp but the system kept lifting away. I followed all the instructions regarding cleaning the lace with alcohol, using a scalp protector etc etc. It got to the point where I was afraid to shower

Good you showing 2 different type of density. However what suits you may not suit others, in our studio we study their face shape and also how big their system is before we suggest the density. There are too many misleading videos about hair system in youtube channel.
@Nakamura-s5n3 жыл бұрын
Lordhair is very conservative with their density and I don’t understand why. It’s hard to find a stock system with light density. Even thought I customised my hair for light density, they keep tasking me if 100% density was ok for me. I think light density should be 80%.

So I know you showed that the hairline needs cleanup but i'm really curious just how good you could get it and if you could get it back to looking like it was in one of your most recent videos. It was the greatest hairline i've ever seen. I am wondering if while super realistic, the hairline kinda goes to hell really fast on these units and never looks quite as nice as the first week or so.
