yes it does. Hair is taken from the back of the head. Ever notice how older men don't lose the hair in the back of their head? that hair is permanent. When it's transplanted to the balding areas it is permanent. However, the other hair on the top of the head is still susceptible to hair loss and you need to really be proactive with non-surgical treatments to keep that hair.
