Everything Steve said about how some hair transplant clinics work is true! I paid 11,000 for 2500 FUE grafts and the end result was disastrous! My donor area was a bit damaged but my hair is thick and dark so the over harvesting is not noticeable in some parts and I had several large scars. It turns out that the day of the surgery, the doctor who evaluated me was not the one who did the graft, it was done by 2 technicians who had worked at Bosley. imagine only 2 technicians grafting 2500 follicles that is impossible !!! I'm sure they didn't put 2500UF on me as the result was poor density and pluggy

We encourage all patients to do their homework! Make sure your doctor is board certified and specializes in hair restoration. Part time hair doctors that bought a FUE machine are not included in this specialty

You can always SMP the FUT scar later down the road. Starting with FUE is risky. Especially with someone with a lot of hair loss and a lot more to lose.
