Thank you! This is the best demonstration of how to take off top cover: 1. Remove blades. 2. Look at the front end of trimmer where you took off blades. 3. There wedge something between top cover and grey part. It comes off very easy so a plastic tool and very little force will suffice. 4. Gently continue wedging alongside trimmer's body until the whole cover comes off. Be careful around length adjustment dial -- top cover is thin and easy to break there.

You can slow down video's on youtube. So for the parts you need to go slower you can set the speed to .5 or even lower.

Thank you! Very helpfull for replacing battery (Li-ion20 3,7V 670 mAh, 43mmx14mm) in slightly different Philips BT5205/16. Replacement battery used: Philips KR112RRL / US14430VR accu (650 mAh), just had to make the solder strips a bit smaller (easy to cut with a normal pair of scissors). Working like a charm!

How about throwing away the batteries - they are way too expensive to replace, and then you'll need to keep replacing them again.. - and simply use the charging cable as power? Would the voltage match or would it need some resistors?
