People commenting on this video saying you're holding your hair on the iron for too long don't seem to understand that you have thick hair so it takes longer for the heat to completely penetrate and curl your hair! Great video (:

This video saved my curling iron's life, I've been trying to master using it for the last 10 years and I've never been happy about how my hair turns out using it so I hardly ever do. I've used this technique twice since watching this and they came out perfect both times. Love it!!

Thank you for doing this so well! So many people don't open the lever/ spring or the marcel enough and you open it up a lot to make sure you're not overheating your hair and also not holding on the ends too long. You definitely know what you're doing and this video deserves all the views!

the best heat protection i recommend is her styler oil which you can get at daly city ca, colma serramonte you can use the oil for straightening or curling your hair and with the oil the ends look so even like you got you hair trimmed straight
@nflietstra19 жыл бұрын
I have been a professional hairstylist for about 6 years now. I just wanted to give you some tips here. I would recommend not using cheap hot tools. You really do get what you pay for in this case. Cheaper hot tools damage your hair A LOT more! Also, I think you are holding the iron on your hair way too long! I get that your hair is thick and course but it's still damaging all the same. Try using a higher heat and not stopping the iron at all. Just a quick twisting motion and let it out. I hope that helps!

Just a tip... use hair products with argan oil... i've been using it for a few months now and its done wonders for my hair and i do alot of heat damage to my hair lol... you will notice a difference almost right away... I use the Sexy Healthy Hair one thats good for color treated hair as well
@jrmthomas12 жыл бұрын
You should definitely try the Moroccan oil hydrating mask. I love it so much better then the Macadamia hair mask. Also a good shampoo and conditioner to use is the Dermaorganics Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. Its sulfate free and makes my hair so healthy. Btw, I have thick course hair as well! :)
