My hair was freaking out, super dry, and nothing was working. I saw this exfoliating detoxification hair shampoo on tiktok, and it hit me that I needed to detox my hair. I did that on a Monday, then 4 days later olaplex 3 for 90 mins, cleansed, deep conditioned with a shower cap and hot water, I brushed out with my Denman brush, did a trim styled and omg my hair loves me again. My curls are so ooooooo bouncy and juicy and zero friz.

Came out so bomb! My thing with the gel only styling is, you’re essentially removing the water when you dry (via air, diffuser, etc). So how is it staying moisturized when you’re really removing the water from your strands???
@AlyssaMarieXo3 жыл бұрын
my thought is that the products helped to lock in the moisture. and the trick is to also use high quality gels that will offer added moisture too. I found this method also made it easier for me to refresh my hair (and add back moisture whenever necessary) because there’s wayyyy less buildup!

When I say when I stop using cream in my wash and go and just use a leave in spray and two gels, my best and favorite wash n go of all time. I use Alikay Natural lemongrass leaven conditioner and their extra hold gel and I also use Curly temple Pineapple gel curl definer as my products. Also adding a lot of water changes everything too.

The results are so pretty. I have very low porosity hair and I tried this routine 3 times and my hair loves it. Thank you!! I’m recommending this to my sisters who have low porosity as well. I really like using leave in spray with the camille rose curl maker or mousse bc it does the same job.

I've heard so much about Innerscence stylers!!! Been wanting to try them. I went to buy their shampoo at Ulta but they weren't in stock and told me I'd have to order it online.

love your results! i also use innersense products and they are great!

Would you say that you are complete done with the crème stylers or are you just done with them for right now? I find that the trend for the no butters and no oils works on certain hair types but I'm not sure if it's good for every hair type. I mean personally I can't even imagine my hair doing without a cereme styler but I'm also one that's like don't knock it till you try it. YOur hair looks incredible btw.

That line is really good, but it contains a lot of protein. How are you able to use those products consistently if your hair is now even more low porosity than before??
@helen94123 жыл бұрын
This is so true and good point! I was just about to ask this. I used innersense exclusively for about 6 months and it dried out my hair. It’s really heavy on the protein. Her curls look bomb but man that no cream styler would be hard for me, gels on my hair would dry it out.
