It’s nice getting your hair washed at the end .. gets rid of those loose hairs and is relaxing .. in college I was going to a beautician for my haircuts .. was convenient right next to my apartment building cheaper than a barber and she cut my hair better than any barber ..and she was one of those old school grandma hairdressers well in her 70s .. it was awkward at first being in a beauty shop but I got more comfortable after a few visits .. I never had my hair washed at a haircut so I was a bit antsy in the chair the first time when she washed my hair so I wasn’t too relaxed .. she would always shampoo my hair first but after a few haircuts from her I got her to just wet my hair first , cut it and shampoo me after the haircut .. I hated all those loose hairs ! And with her being an old school hairdresser.. she gave a very thorough and firm shampooing.. and didn’t rush .. scrubbed every inch of my scalp ..
