See animations like this show that these characters can be expressive. And these are the 2011 generations models. This just shows that Sega doesn’t try enough with the character expression in cutscenes. To this day Boom Rise of Lyric and Frontiers have the most expressive 3D cutscenes in a sonic game yet. Frontiers is less expressive than Boom but they still show some expression.

Never thought that I'd actually happen to stumble upon actually brilliant fan-content for this series, but I guess excellent surprises do come across eventually . o. From pretty well-done voice-acting to smooth animation combined with actually sticking to the dynamics/personalities of the two characters, this is some legit good stuff on this platform (as well as showing the spark other characters can offer, something that SEGA and Sonic Team seems to neglect over cerial-box mascotizing and reskinning Scaletrix-tracks every release to fit just one character). Gotta give this one a proper 10/10, fellas! : D Also, bonus point on that hair: somehow it does feel really fitting for Rouge... Sonic Team, get on that!
