@@ryfreethe written test would have probably stump me… I usually end up having to retake even the simplest tests twice or more depending on the wording. The worst were always the math tests as I often got confused about what the question was asking… math logic ain’t my thing! #stayepic

I looked up your company and they seem very legit. They're one of the newer recruiting agencies aren't they? I came in through Phoenix Group. I know it won't look good if I leave a contract early, but I also have to prioritize my mental and physical health above all else as I don't want a repeat of my situation that happened in Korea a year ago. If worst comes to worst and I have to break contract I do know about the job search visa extension here that gives me six months in country to look for work. And immigration so far seems a lot easier to deal with here as well. Thank you for your words of support and your videos Ryan. Would your schedule happen to be clear this Sunday? I'm thinking a Kahosiung trip is a necessity at this point for me to get out of the area for a bit.

@@PsychoGeminiTo be honest, I'm not sure how new Premiere is but they definitely are legit (or at least they've always been good to me and the other teachers I've met). Good to hear that you've sussed out the emergency situation and have a good understanding of your options. As for Sunday, yes I'd be happy to meet up but as it's the weekend before Halloween I may have a late night Saturday. Alternatively, if you can figure out a costume you are more than welcome to hit the town with me Saturday.

Haha, glad to hear that. Yes, I'm inquiring with the locals on their opinion on scooters (what brands, new vs used, etc.) and will probably look to get one soon. One of the reasons I was so excited for this new job was the location. The trails are literally right at the back door of my school and on the other side of the mountain is the sea (which I have yet to hike far enough to catch a glimpse). Lots more adventures ahead! @@ryfreeyou are lucky your hair doesn’t frizz or get super wispy when it is short! If I did that with my hair I would have to gel, wax it or chemically straighten or perm it just to avoid it going wild. Great adventure as always! #stayepic

Unfortunately they're not in a position to hire any more foreign teachers. I'm on a bit of a trial run as this is their first time working with one. I'll let you know if anything opens up though.

@@ryfree Wow! It's unusual for a school in Taiwan to not have hired any foreigners before! It is always useful to keep people on record just in case.

@@Art_Wine_And_Anarchy You might be right but some school's just don't have the budget to afford one. Mine received a budget to afford one FET for two years and after that they might go back down to zero or maybe not.
