My hair is fine texture and white, naturally. My hair loves layers. I've watched your videos and did cut my hair. I acheived a lil of the layers on top but I was too nervous to do corners and can't do the back. Also I don't want a mullet..lol so I'm wondering if I cut my sides? Do I just pull straight out and take very lil off? But your videos have helped me understand how the layering works. Thank you Salon Guy!

Yes, very helpful. I've cut my own hair for years because I gave up on having a decent cut for a price I can afford and had many a botched-up cut in years past. I can mess up my own hair for free, thank you. Lol. I do now have some good scissors and two haircutting books, both older, but useful still to me. I don't do it perfectly, but I know what you mean about feeling through your hair for the uneven places and making them even.

Scared to try, as already kinda short on top. I keep letting it grow a bit and keep trying to even it. I have been Cutting my own hair for long time & I don't know what happen as it may have gotten thinner, as my hair is very straight and fine.

Got a big issue. See I have a comb over haircut and I’m trying to grow my hair out but the side i combed over my hair doesn’t have the same length of the opposite side (one side is shorter than the other) it’s a really big issue

I dont have layers anymore as some grew more than the other and looked uneven and my hair is long so dont notice it until i go hairdressers or wash my hair especially at the back of my head and i dont have eyes in back of my head
