My husband actually shushed me. I giggled several times as I watched. I am not a stylist of anyone's hair but my own. I so very much appreciate you for taking the time to educate us scissor adventurers! I almost smacked my head when you described the figuring out of the bang sections. Most others describe it starting from the apex. I am about to check mine....I cringe bc I just made mine a tiny bit bigger (back towards the apex...doh...). It grows right? I am so glad I learned how to blend my mistakes ... mullet be gone...not that bad but I was headed that way. 😂 Thank you! It is wonderful that your positive upbeat personality shines thru your presentation!

I CANT WAIT for the rest of this series!!!! 😊I’ve been cutting my kids hair. They are now 18(boy) and 15(girl). I take the girl to the salon because we all know teenage girls hair is VERY important! Not that I do a bad job. I always get compliments on them. This is gonna make me soooo much better! 😃 💇🏼♀️ I’ve had to start cutting my elderly home bound mothers hailer too so it’s going to help so much! March of 2020 I cut all my hair off to a pretty pixie and bleached the snot out of it and went pale pink. I’m back to blonde and seeing my hairdresser. ❤ thank you Brittnee

I feel like i learned more concise, useful info from this video and the newer one than I have in months of casual research with conflicting and unclear instructions!! Thank you!!! I cut my mom's hair and have mostly figured it out on my own, and I can do it pretty well now but it's so much easier if I actually know what I'm doing, technically speaking. Your videos in this new series might actually help me in a way that makes me want to use this knowledge, which is the best compliment I can give to any instructor. I would love to see a video on overdirection :) the head has so many possible angles that cutting hair is like a whole 360° operation, but I bet you can break it down in a way that makes sense. I mean you've probably already thought of that lol. Thanks again, have a great day 🎉

Someone told me that sectioning is for a more organized way to cut hair and not create shapes. but the way you section the hair should be to each individual hair right cause if you have panels that look clean but are sectioned out wrong you can then be creating different shapes no?? So an example would be the horse shoe sectioning. Everyones horse shoe is shaped out different based on their head shape and the way the comb flows when parting/sectioning it vs making every horse shoe either round, v shaped, or square all the time on every head because then if you did the same horse shape on every client you can run into the problem of grabbing hair that naturally falls down and parting it up instead of falling to its natural position right?? Reason i bring this up is because on social media you see alot of that. But what iwas taught by a too tier barber is to start from the most dominant cowlick (if theres more than one) and start your sectioning from there which will give you a horse shoe shape but a unique one to that specific client vs parting it the way you showed here. Sorry for this long ass mssg lol hope im making sense
