He's Filipino. It's Tagalog. They mix a lot of English words. Edit: I worked on cruise ships with Filipinos, so I'm used to hear it. They also use Spanish words because they were colonised by Spaniards centuries ago.

Getting a wig is so much easier than trying for the impossible. Put the money into fantasy wigs instead. You can change on a whim. Use coloring as an enhancement of your natural color. A shade of two different or your shade with extra depth and shine. You will always be happy this way. Wigs for crazy . Dye to enhance what you already have. When you stay close to your natural hair color maintenance is a dream. Most boxed dyes are meant to enhance what you already have or hide a few greys. Giant leaps from crow black to angel white blonde were never intended to be tried outside of a salon and certainly not with drugstore product.

Oh, the chick yellow comment brought back some memories-and not the good kind! My hair was white blonde when I was very young, and went to an ashy, dark blonde/light brown as I got older. There were 4 of us who were great friends, and 3 of us bleached our hair and we basically got together and had a bleaching party so we wouldn’t have patchy spots. One of our group had BEAUTIFUL shiny dark hair. The other two talked her into letting us bleach it. I doubted our ability, and tried to talk them out of it. DUCK YELLOW, Budda. DUCK YELLOW. It was terrible! She had to go to a salon to get it dyed back. The color was very close to her natural, but the damage was done. It was like dying hay. She was so upset. (And rightly so. . . )
@tatchik7710 ай бұрын
"Now you have shitty blonde hair instead of shitty brown hair." 😂 I'm dying!
@fsutaria2 ай бұрын
Dear HB, it is possible to take south-east asian hair (coarse, black, but at most wavy, not curly) to a pale (aka "platinum") blonde, but the bleaching has to be done several times, using a low volume bleach, over several days. The bleach preparation consists of 1 cup 40 vol. bleach mixed with 2 to 3 cups of a good quality conditioner (effectively 15 to 10 vol), and each application, with foils, lasts for no more than 15 min. After every application of bleach, the head of hair is allowed to rest for 2-3 days, during which a deep conditioning hair mask is applied. I suppose one can say "bleach, rinse, hair mask, repeat" until the desired level of blondness is achieved. As you confirm, it is impractical and nearly impossible to go from true black to a platinum blonde in a single application, or even a single day.

I always learn from Hair Buddha videos. He actually taught me what NOT to do with regard to how NOT to color my hair to reach platinum....I did it naturally. I had to cut off ALL MY OLD DYE from years of coloring. What a challenge but I was ready. THEN I proceeded to let my natural platinum grow out, then began enhancing the color with ash blond...BOX dye....yes, BOX dye. It can be done, but it must be done properly. I got rid of the remaining brass colors, used wonderful Jhirmack purple shampoo....not expensive at all....I get mine at drug store for less than $7.00. It really cuts the remaining yellow/reds in my hair. I now have plat in the front and a pale blond in the back. People have told me it looks fabulous. I keep my brows a bit darker for added "Shazam" and play up my eyes as well. Have fun with change but please be careful with chemicals. I stopped dying my hair for health reasons. Peace.

On my friend hers was way orangy/ yellow, mixed color lux and purple shampoo together and it had our hair whitish blond we dig it (: It puts pigment in tho, so if u have dead porus hair dont leave long or u may get light faint blue bits

I came here to say this❤ my ‘aunties’/ godsister ( and her family) and all my babysitters growing up were all phillipino. I used to go to Tagalog church with them if I stayedover on weekend so I became decently fluent . So sad I lost most of it since I haven’t used it in over a decade and had a major concussion so my languages got all messed up, but it is a lovely language to use. I used to swear in it at school and no one understood me😂 now I have to use italian or french ( depending on where I am) to not be rude.
