I’ve been cutting my own hair since I was 16. At 19, I switched it up and did a cut similar to this, with maybe just a tad less blending. I was mauled by “critics” (largely family), and had to learn to really blend/fade it. Couple years later I see it on the male models for NYFW, then I’m introduced to the Peaky Blinders. I'm about to try it on my son once I pick up new hair shears. I have never gone to school or anything for hair cutting but I've been cutting my own hair since I was about 15. I'm 27 now and have had bobs, Mohawks, shaved head, pixie cuts, lobs, and just long and layered. I do both my kids hair cuts now too. I got tired of spending money on hair cuts that turned out not what I expected. (Usually in a bad way.) So I figured if I do it myself I can only be upset at myself and not blame others. Every time I've cut my hair or my kids hair, I've loved it. Lol it's actually an incredibly easy job to do imo if you have youtube. Lol
