Kaleidoscope Crafts Its a new live version of Hairspray from some of the creative team behind the Wiz Live including Neil Meron & Craig Zadan who co-produced the movie. The cast will include Harvey Fierstein as Edna, Martin Short as Wilbur, Derek Hough as Corny Collins, Jennifer Hudson as Maybelle, Kristin Chenoweth as Velma, Dove Cameron as Amber, Ariana Grande as Penny, Garret Clayton as Link, Andrea Martin as Prudy, Sean Hayes as Mr. Pinky and introducing Maddie Ballio as Tracy.

He started singing a beat too late, and cut out half a word to get back on track. Nice correction actually, it would have been very hard not to freeze up after botching the very first line. He must have been freaking out inside.

I actually thought he sounded great in this performance. I've never heard him sing live before so I thought he would be much worse than that.
