I got a pixie in June 2020 too!! I've been cutting the back though so can't quite do a ponytail yet :") This was really helpful, I'm always trying to figure out ways to style my not-quite-a-bob-yet-but-not-a-pixie hair. And I've never seen someone wear the growing out stage so well, you look amazing!

This is so much easier when you have a bit of wave in the hair, mine is atrocious and being totally straight is only making it so much worse.

Hi, my hair is thick and wavy like yours, and I too have a pixie cut I now want to grow out 😬 You reminded me that using products and accessories is the only way to go. You showed some great doable ideas. I have a diffuser so will use that with some sea salt spray first then use clips,slides and those little no tangle bands are wonderful too! They’re very fine yet strong so not bulky. I do recommend those, and you can be really creative with them. Thank you for sharing and showing it can be done 👏🏻🫶🏻🇬🇧

I've chopped off my hair too many times to count and I always just suffered through the awkward growing phase by wearing beanies. Now I'm gonna spend some time messing with my hair to see if anything like this works for me. Im still a little too short to do a ponytail but my hair needs HELP

June 2021 was the last pixie cut I got and then in August I just got the back cut - now I see that was a mistake because I could have had a pony tail by now. But I haven't gotten it cut since August and the back is growing again and I like the styles you show in your video. I also have wavy hair and I like to let it dry naturally and just add some mousse. I will be shopping for some of those awesome statement bobby pins you have. I love the way you use them to accentuate the one side and leave the other side just wild and wavy. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. Good luck to all of us growing out our pixie cuts. It takes patience.

Pretty cute Sarah. I expect this video is for girls. But anyway, I gave up cutting my hair some time last year and now find myself with a ponytail again too. when I was cutting my own (curly) hair, I too prefer to leave it a bunch of different lengths ion top, so it's "piece-y" like your short cut was 0:17 just feels more organic texturally. And that is .. was I like.

I think a pixie is a lovely style but a lot of women seem to regret it and immediately want their hair to grow again as quickly as possible. I have been tempted but I just keep mine in a medium curly bob ❤
@grillbesteck631911 ай бұрын
I got one in 2019 and I really loved it, but there are pros and cons. Pros: you don’t sweat as much, it’s lighter, easy to take care of, dries really fast Cons: it’s cold in the winter, growing it out looks like shit, not many possibilities to style, depending on the cut you might get confused as a guy

I'm in my 7 month of grow of buzz cut.. And once you go threw month 4-8 then your golden.. Where they're are more things to do with the hair..
@danakingery3363 жыл бұрын
Also what styling products do you use because I feel like my hair is always frizzy
@asapkitty3 жыл бұрын
Also when growing out a pixie make sure you don't cut the back.. I know it's annoying but that's how you can get the pontail quicker
@amdman4you Жыл бұрын
That is not really necessary depending on the layers it would end up with a mullet which a lot of people don't like
