Those brass candle sticks are easy to clean. I saw it on Salvage Dogs on the Magnolia channel. You put them in a pan of water submerged and boil them, and the paint peels right off. They clean brass door hardware that way. The hall bathroom looks good. Good job guys.

Thanks! Gotta be careful with wallpaper since it can overtake the room but I love how it compliments the vanity and is slightly muted by the mirror and light fixture

Great video! Something to think about with wall towel bars is ensuring they are in the studs and not the sheet rock. We have had quite the issue with our older home and ended up removing them and opting for an over the door solution. Especially since this is a rental you might want to think through what projects you want to fix constantly post tenants

Congrats on finishing the bathroom! If the chrome shower bar really annoys you, you can buy a plastic cover/tube to match whatever colour shower curtain you end up buying at a very reasonable price. Love how much fun you guys are having with the booth. You work so hard, you deserve to have fun along the way

I was looking the other day and it's been so long since I bought spray paint, couldn't believe the prices. I still think it would be cheaper than buying a new rod. tip for tub spout get a pex to female dog ear 90, they have two screw holes you can put a block in and screw it in place from the tub side. (you can actually cut the pex you put temporary and connect it with that). then get a brass male to male pipe they make in several different lengths find the one that's the best length for the tub spout to screw to

What a wonderful video and it covered so many parts of what you are doing. From purchasing to spending the money on your house. That part about each of you having one shoe was hilarious. Never were truer words spoken when Josh made the comment about him and Hayley being 'sole mates' because the two of you really are. I love how you work together as a complete team. I had to smile when Hayley started to walk us through the house to the bathroom and she made the motion as if trying to hide the garbage on the floor. :) Don't worry Hayley, that is only part of remodelling and I promise you, it will all disappear when the time is right. That wallpaper looks even better than I thought it would when Hayley showed it to us from the store. I think you made a wonderful choice when you purchased that vanity because the dark colour is such a great contrast to the 'whiteness' of the room. Josh, I LOVE the T-shirt you are wearing near the end of the video; the one that shows a picture of your newest employee. Your 'new goods' inspector. :) That is so perfect because I have NO idea how many times over the years Mose has 'inspected' whatever you've brought home. I do have to wonder though, is he actually doing a quality inspection, or simply looking and hoping to find something he could 'steal' as a toy for himself? :) :) Keep up the good work, you two. Make sure you caulk baseboard between the sink in the back wall for the water doesn't go in there and cause black mold if somebody over sets the water and it doesn't drain proper or kids playing just use pure silicone

The next time you find brass or bronze, if dirty throw it in a water vinegar and salt solution and leave it in a few days. It will come out shining like gold. Do remember to wash it with a water and baking soda solution to quit the process.

I wanted to tell you that yesterday I was cleaning a house for a friend who is an interior decorator, and I realized , for the first time, that her beautiful bathroom I’ve cleaned at least 50 times in the past has gaps on the sides of their vanity that I have never noticed before! (And I only noticed it because I was thinking of your vanity).. so,..I don’t think anyone is going to care that y’all have gaps on the sides of yours especially since everything looks so good!
