Haiti Gang Leader Jimmy Cherizier Calls Kenyan Troops “Invaders,” Declares War | Firstpost America
Haitian gang leader Jimmy “Barbecue” Cherizier, who has acted as a spokesperson for the gang alliance, said that he would not accept the presence of Kenyan police troops in Haitian territory. Jimmy Cherizier was seen leading a couple dozen rifle-hoisting followers whose faces were obscured by hoods or balaclavas. Meanwhile, the elite Kenyan Police Unit which is leading the international peacekeeping mission in Haiti has begun patrolling the streets of capital Port-Au-Prince. On the other hand, the armed gangs have declared war on the Kenyan forces calling them “invaders” of the Caribbean nation. At the same time, Haiti’s Prime Minister Gary Conille visited the United States after Washington promised to provide more funds and support to the Kenya-led international peacekeeping mission.

Then British tried it's luck, and they defeated them. As a result Haiti had to pay reparations to France for them to stop war. There is absolutely no reason for the Dominican Republic getting involved here as Haiti is not primarily the responsibility of the Dominican Republic but rather of the Western Alliance meaning the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Japan. Moreover the Dominican Republic doesn't have the means to finance the mission the United States having a treasury that is 400 times the size of that of the Dominican Republic. President Luis Abinader has it right it is for the International Community and the Western Alliance to resolve the situation in Haiti and the Dominican Republic will stay clear of the internal situation in Haiti except of course that it will protect it's border. @@Leo5c2010 Actually the Dominican Republic is very well developed in Santo Domingo, Bavaro, Las Terrenas and La Romana for example but certainly not to the extent of the United States. The United States treasury for example is 400 times that of the Dominican Republic. What is more the Biden Administration has sent already 200 billion dollars to shore up the Ukraine militarily and the restructuring of Haiti does not require more than 4 billion dollars for example that is about 2%. Moreover President Luis Abinader already stated that the Dominican Republic does not have the means coming to the rescue of Haiti. On the other hand the United States in conjunction with the Western Alliance does thank you very much and enjoy your day ☺️☺️

In addition Turkey has absorbed 3.5 million Syrian Nationals within it's borders but in charging the European Union billions of dollars for that. So if Turkey has that privilege the Dominican Republic equally can turn to the Western Alliance asking for financial contributions on account of it hosting Haitians nationals within it's borders. There's a difference between having a full military as backup in a war and having to deal with police actions with a very limited amount of troops on the other side of the world from your home country. I'd imagine the gangs will not engage in direct warfare and this will end in about 6 months after negotiations and payoffs to the gangs.
