Soviet propaganda had one problem. Comparing capitalism with socialism, she made references exclusively to the rich and developed imperialist powers. The main rivals of the USSR and the objects of criticism were only North America and Western Europe, as the most successful examples of market societies. But the capitalist system of the 20th century did not end there. In the global markets for goods, services, capital and labor, new economies of Africa, Asia and Latin America were constantly being built in. This allowed them to be fully attributed to the capitalist world. However, it was not customary for us to criticize and ridicule the poor countries of the periphery. Perhaps because the Soviet Union hoped to still compete for their sympathy for the socialist bloc.
