As gangs take over the island nation of Haiti, having blocked the return of the U.S.-installed Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, the country has devolved into chaos and indiscriminate killings -- akin to the movie franchise, “The Purge.” Erik explains how U.S. State Department official Brian Nichols, a career diplomat responsible for the Caribbean, blocked a plan by Haiti officials in 2023 to correct the exorbitant purchase price Haiti pays for fuel that generates their electricity to fund a national security force. The Biden solution to the depraved, gang-run port and streets of Port-au-Prince? Contracting a security force from Kenya, a deal that PM Henry was negotiating before his return to the country was blocked and he had to take refuge in Puerto Rico.

I used to fly just north of Hispaniola in the late 1980's on the way to Puerto Rico in A-7's; we were told to eject rather than land in Haiti. That was telling even back then.

The scariest thing is when you realize that the blacks in the USA are pretty much the geniuses of the black world (due to race mixing) and the ones in Haiti/Africa/etc are barely even sentient. They all want to come here in the millions though, have fun.

Erik Prince has lots of accurate insights on Haiti. I worked for Eric Prince at Greystone in Baghdad and was on his personal security detail in 2004-2005. He is smart and extremely experienced. I witnessed decay of Haiti while living and working there while managing security for the Embassy of Canada, the European Union Delegation, and USAID from 2017-2018. Erik is right about the corruption and ineffectiveness of State Department, USAID, and NGO presence in Haiti.

Here in Sweden we have been fed with info since 2008/9 about Blackwater and what a thug this guy is. But when listening to him he is as realistic as one get. Especially since I my self come from a country that was in war. He describes everything quite accurately.

Haiti needs help. Need guys like Erik Prince in the department to normalise situations and redevelop the area. Both in terms of security, development, etc. Sooner or later these cannibal Haitians will turn up at the US border. Shocking the Us has allowed this in their own backyard. I remember Bono used to keep having fundraiser’s for Haiti. What a waste of money. Should have given that money to a firm like Blackwater who would have found a guy like Bukelele for Haiti and developed it

Everyone needs to understand that the most incompetent of college trained individuals migrate to government jobs because they cannot function in a private work environment that requires skill and ability in their field. These people are gifted jobs for a variety of unethical reasons. Their only desire is to survive and receive their paycheck, benefits and perks. Subsequent jobs they receive in private industry are just do-nothing seats at a table. This concept is now infiltrating corporations. Everything is going downhill fast due to having inexperienced and incompetent people "in charge". It is an organized effort and succeeding nicely.

Wow, the US movement making a country worse, who would have thought I say in jest. My brother's first deployment with the 101 1st was to the Dominican Republic about 1967, I was too young to care what the issue was but it surely wan't the Dominican Republic of today. Haiti had been an ungovernable mess since 'independence'. Could it be possible to incentivize "or smart LOL" the Dominican republic a sector at a time over decades to rehab and by annexation bit by bit over decades. One bite at a time is how you eat an elephant. After a sane government had the whole island in 50 to 100 years maybe, just maybe something could work. Like when Germany merged with East Germany there would be problems and collisions of mind sets but what do I know, I'm just a photographer with crazy ideas. Hope one day next year saner minds might endorse your project in Haiti.
