I'm From Chile and lately I've seen a lot of Haitian immigrants buying stuff at the market Where I'm working. It breaks my heart, because they seem so lost, they take a lot of time buying stuff and I really want to help them, but I can't because we can't understand each other's languages. So yeah, Hopefully this video will help me to make better connection with them and make them more comfortable ^^ Thanks for the video. Greetings Bye bye~

It sounds like in creole often the last letters (like n in mwen or kijan) aren't pronounced or are pronounced softly, like in French? Is that right?
@juniorjordan69997 жыл бұрын
yes you do not pronounce the n just like in French.

Oscar Scott, 'an', 'en', 'in', 'on', and 'ou' are nasal vowels. Each represents one sound. Besides those, all letters and syllables are pronounced, especially the ones at the end of a word. For example, kabann = bed is pronounced kaBANN, tiwa = drawer is pronounced tiWA.
