From her third solo Minecraft stream. Hopefully she comes back to it at some point! ~TL Notes~ 0:13 - 真っす組 (Massugumi) - Authenticrew. Not official, of course, but I'll probably go with this on my channel. I think it's cute. 3:08 - Princess Kaguya was a thumb-sized infant found inside bamboo by a bamboo cutter while he was harvesting. It's from the oldest recorded Japanese folk tale. She also uses an old reading of 何処(doko) "izuko" so I tried to match it in English. 5:12 - She uses a couple of similar idioms here. First she says はじめは危ない橋を渡らねぇタイプだぜ lit. "I don't cross dangerous bridges" Funnily enough, her using "type" here could allow us in English to just use it straight "I'm not the type to cross dangerous bridges" which infers not taking risks but we kinda lose it being idiomatic and that's less fun. Then she says はじめは石橋を叩いて渡る番長 lit. "I'll knock on a stone bridge before crossing" which means "to be extra cautious". 5:23 - Apparently the concept of "first penguin" also exists in English, although I'd never heard of it personally. Consider it something like trailblazer, vanguard, go-getter. The first penguin is that first one that'll go into the water that let's the other penguins know if it's safe or not to go looking for food. She calls herself the First Penguin during her debut as well, so I figured it'd be fine to just leave as is. 6:26 - Just for clarity, you don't eat bamboo specifically, you eat bamboo shoots/sprouts. 6:45 - キノコ族 - I would have liked to call them "Mushroom People" and apparently in the early days the Toads were called that in Mario, but they decided to change it for whatever reason. 7:18 - From the HOKTO brand mushroom ad. She kinda butchers it though lol 7:48 - Botan = Peony. Chat was spamming "shishiron!" here of course

Thanks a lot for the insane effort you put into these. Editing a whole stream alone is massive but the care & thought you put into the translations is above & beyond honestly. I really love Hajime's Minecraft streams. Her sense of wonder is really childlike and wholesome 😄 Did she ever say why she only restricts herself to one hour only?

Thanks! I think it was something like she wants her vods to be more accessible by being shorter so people don't have to spend so long on it? She arbitrarily decided on 59 minutes, but usually goes over an hour lol

Apparently she tries to keep it within 1 hour but is that even possible with minecraft? 😂 There is so much stuff to explore and more pumkins to be found! Hajime is adorable with her courage! Thank you tons for the edits and translation!
