Hajj 2024 death toll has exceeded 1,000, more than half of them unregistered pilgrims who worshiped in extreme heat in Saudi Arabia,
This year, the Hajj pilgrimage began on June 14. As per the report, the new deaths deported on Thursday (June 20) included 58 from Egypt.
As per an Arab diplomat, who provided a breakdown showing that of 658 total dead from Egypt, 630 were unregistered.
Around 10 countries have reported 1,081 deaths during the annual pilgrimage this year.

1000 dead out of 2 million in that 120 degrees heat shows how much endurance they have. 2 million people visiting the place at the same time show that they have immense belief. At least 10% of those people (200,000) believe, dying there is a wonderful thing. The organizers and people serving them are trying their best. So, I do not see anything bad there. Everything is going on there looks good to me. Even if is hotter than 120 F next year, I bet more than 2 million will attend. Whatever their belief is, their satisfaction must be real and fulfilling.
