I had the same issue. The question seems to be 2 years old so maybe you already found an answer, but for those still struggling: 1) either try couple more times even though it is refusing to connect, until it does 2) if it doesn't connect, then use the module manager to delete autossh and key manager; then re-install them and try again

i have a problem with autossh , my remote server ssh service is in not default port. from lanturtle shell is posible, but from autossh dont

Check box never gets checked so I login to console and using lsof + grep I see all my ssh stuff, nothing on the port I chose (2225 which I chose because I did see stuff on 2222? Which I had hoped was the right one but nada?)

Alternatively u can do it manually by exiting the modules and generate new ssh keys then copy them to the remote host and you will be good to go

you can modify the /etc/config/autossh and add the port to the config!
