Even though I love their recent work, I still think Aquarius is my favorite album from them. It has a old-school prog vibe while being recent (for the time of it's release at least) and, of course the growls were excellent. I don't necessarily want them to come back to harsh vocals, they're doing the things that they want to do and it's fine with me, I don't want them to force themselves to make music based on fans' demands but I will say, I love hearing them deep growly monster tones in the first album (and the demo). Much love from Canada!

I think Affinity deserves a live DVD, seriously, this album is so awesome, it must be recorded live!!! Including "Lapse".... I dont care how many playbacks you"ll gonna use in the backing vocals.... SERIOUSLY but... just record it live!! And remember to come play here in Brazil!!!

Awesome music played by outstanding musicians. There's definitely a live DVD being put together. Hopefully a 5.1 mix? 😎But my concern all along after I saw their tour schedule was that by the time Haken land in Australia, they'll be burned out and longing for home. Ray in particular is tiring. And a couple of months later they're back with M.Portnoy on the Shattered Fortress tour. I can see the Haken lads sitting it out, and other musicians taking there place. And if so, it's totally understandable. Unfortunate, but nonetheless understandable. 🍻🤘🎼🤘
