Ajax fans are kinda used to it nowadays. Every exceptional talent that plays at ajax is going to get picked up by a big club within one or two years. The eredivisie is not really that interesting to play in and ajax can't compete with clubs in the big 4 competitions moneywise, so we all see it coming from a mile off tbh. The exciting part about ajax for me is that we see a breakthrough of young talents every year, with gravenberch, timber and rensch this year to name a few
