The carp you are thinking off is a different type of carp those are koi carp. Though you are still right because they would do the same thing if introduced too. The ones you are thinking of are called common carp and mirror carp. Both were introduced years and years ago like other European and Asian fish. Was a big mistake. Theres lots of types of carp. Even goldfish is a carp lol koi are basically big goldfish ✌
