if you google it you'll find most of it, but the 1-9 Deirectionals are the most used it's ment to show where to move the stick or where to push on the D-pad like so 789 (7 =Jump back 8= Neutral Jump 9 = jump To) 456 (4 = walk back/ block -5 = Stand -6 = Walk to ) 123 (1 = Crouch back - 2 = Neutral Crouch - 3 = Crouch to ) it's makes tracking Combos and inputs in notes easier. Hoped this helps

@keevre There shouldn't be anything keeping you from doing that. I always immediately switch to holding up right after I hit the two a's (though I like to hold down back while doing that combo so I don't accidentally get his sweep on the ground). Just mess with it without the intent of continuing the combo just to see if you can do it. You can also jump cancel off his B attack\ if you need another example.

@Slayerx49 His counter isn't necassary but is beastly if you master it. It makes people second guess their descisions, opening the door for you to be more aggresive. His high/ low game is pretty decent too. 2B or 214B both have the potential to lead to big combos while 6B or dash in>j.214C make good overheads. 6A also shuts down a lot of airdash and jump in attempts.

his drive is instant. human reaction time is actually very long when one has to choose between choices. If I remember right, it's almost a half a second when more than one or two choices is involved. Prediction lets you lower the number of choices to as low as possible. that lets you bring your reaction time down. (if you can make the prediction that they will burst or they will not burst, that's when the .2 SECONDS comes in (.2 ms is .000002 sec, way too short)

In case anyone's curious, that last 100% combo was as follows: Activate Mugen, 6C xx 632146C xx 623A, 214B (1 hit) xx 41236C (1 hit) xx 632146C xx 623A, 214B (2 hits) xx 632146C xx 623A, 214B (2 hits) xx 41236C Kind of impractical since it requires a corner and 6C, but I'm sure there are plenty of variants off of other moves which could be useful. Mugen is somewhat of an underrated move at this point IMO, since he tends to die with 8 stars a lot anyway.

if someone barrier bursts you can counter with Hakumens D button which will do A LOT of dmg to your opponents health bar. If you've got 4 magatamas do the combo 6, very effective. You just gotta get the timing right of when the person will barrier burst

Dudes, is there any way to jump cancel in this game? I just start playing this game on the PC about three days ago and I make combos like the ones on the video but for instance at 0:22 he jumps at the same time he hits and I can't seem to do that. Any help?
@GcYoshi1315 жыл бұрын
the damage is a joke, but the combo isn't. It's still a good chain, making his counter really powerful as long as you have the magatamas.
@elevate0714 жыл бұрын
@Slayerx49 dash in>j.214C is really unpredictable but the timing takes practice and it costs 3 stars. Also the 1st hit of 214B makes the next hits stronger so cancel the 2nd hit with 214A for big combos. Finally you have his grab which you can follow up with 214A for combos. 623A can go through some moves. Finally, 6C counter hit can almost always follow up to 632146C for big, easy damage.

Mugen is great, the problem with it however is that it has a crapload of startup and can't really be reliably setup unless its from a 6D or off a counter hit 6A. I'm still playing around with the potential of it though.

no it makes all his magatana moves cost nothing but the magatana drains over a period of time to zero you can think of it as a timer to your (infinity mode)

so mugen cuts the required magatama of his moves DOWN TO one or BY one?
@Jtlearning15 жыл бұрын
It can easily be replaced by a counter assault with any other character. Hell Tager can just eat it up with a guard point. And quite frankly, predicting a burst and timing that D correctly is not even as easy as it looks.

@storm1OG14 жыл бұрын
@Kokatsusa Now on a friendlier note: You were saying that no one saw the "danger mode". I'm just saying, when one, "barrier bursts", they get in "danger mode"; so it is kind of obvious, its part of the combo. They're not exactly fooling anyone, it is the consequence for "bursting". You correct me and 'visa-versa'. I am aware that this is more of an ass-'ier' note than a friendly one. BUT! Don't take it to heart! its IMO.

In my personal opinion, Professional Haku-men players are rare due to the limited combos he can pull off on opponents due to his limited ground movement his slower attacks and his short duration of counter moves he is given. A haku-men player has hard times against quick players like taokaka and bang which make him a bit more complicated to play and his bar required to do moves are consuming magmatamas which are consumed rather quickly in combos.

After hours of practicing combo 3, I have confirmed that (at least against Ragna) it is possible to do it with or without a super jumb after 2C. The falling C is the hardest part of this combo since if it is done too soon you can't land into 2C fast enough and it it is late you don't attackt at all. Most of the time I cannot get 2C to land after falling C but that is the only trouble I have with Hakumen's combos. Guess I am too used to maining Rachel.

TBH I didn't catch most of that. To clarify, I don't play BB. I watch gameplay videos since I'm planning on getting the game soon, and on maining Haku-men, which is why I'm so curious. So, ah... Are you saying that after the D Barrier Burst, Haku-men is open? Also, I figured that Barrier countering was probably hard to pull off, but I was thinking about high-level play where, I'm assuming, people can do that quite easily. Is the non-barrier penalty from Tager turtling?
@rmnhn14 жыл бұрын
that last combo...is ragna dead?
@bjmensz15 жыл бұрын
you don't have to remember all that. just learn 1 combo with your character that starts anywhere is easy to start (say it starts off a quick weak attack). practice that for 15 minutes and then go online and keep trying it. you'll fail for awhile and miss the timing, but keep trying. within 1 hour you'll have the motions memorized and you won't forget it, even if its still hard to do. in a month, you'll have it perfect w/out trying. learn a new one each week. its easy!
@intboom14 жыл бұрын
That last combo is just plain dirty.
@TheBoredomOtaku14 жыл бұрын
@XINKAI he is faster than tager however (tho thats not very hard to achieve im guessing) his range with that sword is just stupid (C attack) plus it cuts projectiles. the counter attack is just as useful maybe even more useful than Bang's autogaurd drive and his distortions take off ridiculous amounts of health. good players with him are hell but if people take advantage of his slow attacks then he isnt too hard to beat even with low tiers like bang and tager.(well tager has trouble with C spam)
@Metadaxe15 жыл бұрын
Well, I didn't know he had a negative penalty. The fact that it's a counter to a burst is part of what makes it seem overpowered, though.
@gamehead122311 жыл бұрын

If I remember correctly, Haku-men has 14k health, and Tager has 15k. Also, I don't get all this prediction stuff. Aren't people at high level play good enough that they can react in time? Or is Haku-men's drive's startup longer than a barrier bursts?
@dethman3215 жыл бұрын
i dont quite understand
@elevate0714 жыл бұрын
@Slayerx49 To start, play defensively. Haku doesnt have very good mobility on tge ground and he's too obvious in the air. If you're playing CS you can keep people out with 4C. Once you start getting stars a great way to get in is dash in>j.214B. Theres a short time when you dash that your in the air but the timing takes practice. But it has invincibility, if they block they loose a primer, and it can Fatal Counter for HUGE damage.
@KazikaroInei755015 жыл бұрын
Ya. So why are his air combos a little difficult than all the other characters that can do air combos? :\

@kirbykevin702 i know dude fucking hakumen is so hard to main i mean dont u get the feeling like hes so stiff and hindered?
@tomaskraven15 жыл бұрын
mmm like 25%-35% less... maybe lower damage than that. Negative penalty is adds a huge amount of damage to combos. and remember this combo only insta-kills because hes in danger too, if you try this combo from any other attack(countering lets say a B) at best it would be a 5000 dmg combo or a lil less.

These combos are great, but a few of them are extremely impractical. (at least in CS) a lot of those are evadable (again, in CS, I haven't played CT that much) and as far as I know his down light aerial attack got nerfed. I'd say Haku-men is an incredibly hard character to main, I've been trying to main him so I kind of have a first hand experience.. props to ya if you've mastered Haku-men, I find him the most hardest character to play :/
@bjmensz15 жыл бұрын
Because the other player can easily play run away during Mugen if they are half-way competent, including just running out your meter by using their own distortion drives, and when Mugen runs out, which it will, you'll be at 0 orbs and completely SOL. Hakumen is all about waiting for the right opportunity and capitalizing on it. He isn't served by a giant "OKAY NOW THE MOST REACTIVE CHARACTER IN THE GAME IS GOING TO TRY AND ATTACK YOU NOW MAN I WISH I HAD A DASH" sign. Mugen sucks.
