In case anyone has doubts... I personally think it's very clear he's just trying to distract her-- hence the "I'm sorry for saying something so ridiculous", in the way he did. Notice how she does not say a word out loud, about what she's thinking... although it must be pretty obvious to Kazama, he does not mention the Shinsengumi when "complaining". Instead, he dramatically proclaims to be jealous that her attention is elsewhere. *sigh* They're adorable.

Oof, Kazama's behavior in the beginning is really childish... But at least he apologizes for it? ^^' However, he then says he forgives Chizuru for *her* behavior.. Oh, I'll never figure out this man... And Chizuru thinks the same in the end :D Also, is it of any significance that Chizuru calls him Kazama-san instead of Chikage-san? They're married after all...

I don't think they married yet - they're still in Edo - Chizuru asks about Kazama village so she hasn't yet been there. He calls her his wife all the time in Hakuouki SSL :D

@@aleksandrakowal5661 You have a point... But aren't all couples married in the Sakura Epilogues that take place after the main game? (I would like/prefer Chizuru and Kazama not being married yet, though. Their relationship needs a lot of work still imo... But I'm not comfortable with Chizuru being so obedient in this epilogue.)

@@EleiyaUmei I think he’s not being serious. He knows that Chizuru thinks on the Shinsengumi when she sees sakuras blooming and If she drowns in memories she will end up sad. That’s why he tries to steal her attention acting like a jealous kid. He’s just playing, trying to distract her. Then he apologises for saying such things and assures that she knows he’s always by her side.

@@EleiyaUmei sorry for late reply . I don't think they're married because they haven't still reached Kazama village. As he's clan's leader and pays much attention to tradition, there should be official ceremony of wedding of two clan leaders in Oni village. I think that this scene take place before them leaving Edo and by "home" he means Yukimura's clinic. In "Hakuouki Tsukikage no shou" there's scene with them both married and she's addressing him " Chikage".
