Hi Toptier, thank you for your informative and useful videos. I've improved as an action-CV player since subscribing! I find it very frustrating to carry and lose. I have great respect for you for posting a loss - you could've easily posted a victory, but I think posting a loss shows that even super-unicum CVs can't overcome horrible teammates that yolo and cost their team valuable fire support and points.

Tbh, that only works for DDs with decent air concealment and smoke/strong AA. The hms dds are best against cvs for their short smoke besides the recent pan-eu dds

I strongly agree with you. Nobody sees that CV's are as strong as the team. They can only be successful if the team works well. But when you have someone like that Iowa, victory is not possible to achieve.

The topic of the video is so true, I cannot say anything to your argument. Even if you play well all the time as a CV, your damage numbers (let alone winning) depends on the entire team's action. Edit: Though, the first Bismarck kill is why every player other than CV players are whining about CV and I actually agree to them. You were under fire from so many ships yet dropped 3 times successfully and killed her. Maybe the MM wasn't fair to him. If we let the CVs play with their respective tiers, we may see less cries aout CVs being OP.

Cv's can be a important factor on the game but if your team is bad while the other is average to not say "good" make the things really hard, what people dont get is that a combat where the surface ship dont have any other enemy to worrie about except the planes, is more easy to evade most of their attacks the fact that they get attacked while camping or distracted with someone else make them think the CV's are overpowered. Btw, are you going to show us a test of the German CV's? they seem really interesting but the lack of HP and that those sec are 105mm make me worrie about the mandatory use of IFHE.

1 dont drop into an AA blob. If you must, leave the flak range before recalling the squadron. 2 if there are fighters present, call down your fighters to distract enemy fighters

wow that Bismarck at up them planes like nothing and of course the Cleveland finished em off. Them CV's aren't like what they use to be. I wonder what that Bismarck has for skills and upgrades? But these planes are getting eaten up like flies getting stuck to flypaper. Don't worry about 95% of the people playing Montanas are horrible payers anyway and that one masermick with a 389 WN8 proves it rite there. But man I wish I got top tier games when I play a Haka I always get an al tier 10 game. Also them rockets are crappy now they use to be good at hitting there target at one time. But your title of the video is completely true when playing a CV basically. Its hard to carry a team that don't wanna be carried 🙃

Incomprehensibly more players with T10 dont know play it, example that Montana that u repport gives his broadside to Massachussets hes lucky dont be citadeled, and other players who knows...some of them are good players but mix t8 with t10 its a lottery and MM its cruel sometimes. U can do lot of very good games being first and losing battle after battle.

Players will go out and be bisko then complain that carriers are busted. No, you got outplayed. He used DCP for a single fire. If nothing tells you that you just made yourself a target, probably shouldnt be playing a class that has to worry about cooldown times. Especially for something as integral as DCP

Why do many CV players refrain from attacking ships with AA turned off?

CVs have a few sec prep time before they can attack. DDs that turn off their AA will have a smaller air detection range, not enough for the CV to line up an attack, so either they have to turn around and try to estimate to do an attack or just leave it. and if theirs another ship nearby with AA, that means they will lose planes for an attack that isn't 100% hit. if the DD is alone however then that's a different matter.

You did 300k damage and only got 1,4k exp cause CVs have reduced exp gain when they loose, the WG made that so they don't look as OP and I really hate that.
