I appreciate there are only so many hours in the day and that you have expanded the library of the material available with the 80+ sequences generated to-date, for which we are all incredibly grateful. However, for those of us who are blessed with wider screens any chance of a future release of the animation sequences clips in 21:9 as well. Many thanks!?

(April 2023) - When I play your HAL9000 video on my 27 inch iMAC... WOW! Everything is crisp and clear. It enhances the look of my computer. Very true to the original 2001: A Space Odyssey. Thanks so much! IDEA: Is there any way I or you can scale up the video, so that the HAL9000 lens and speaker assembly appears near "actual size" to what the astronauts saw in the movie?

I believe the final intention is this on youtube. With that in mind, you can play anything you like in the background.

Other commenters have asked for a looping version and a super long version, so I'll do those and keep them just with the background ship sound (i.e. no music/vocals).

@@TheHALProject Absolutely fantastic, the ship sound really brings in a level of anachronistic atmosphere you just don't see anymore. Either of those will be perfect for a VLC ad hoc screen saver, I'll be certain to prepare a batch file.

Have you thought releasing those videos on Vimeo ? That would be the perfect platform as there is a download option and there video compression is better also.

I've not got there yet, once all videos are up I'll begin work on exploring options. Some viewers have already reported using a KZbin video downloader and importing to "Wallpaper Engine" and "SaveHollywood" successfully. Once all videos are up on the channel I'll add download links to the original videos and then can look into how these can be used :)

I have done some research, and the best apps for I've found so far for running videos natively in Windows as a screensaver are (although not yet with multi-screen or multi-video support): VideoScreensaver EasyVideoScreensaver
