Es una ilusión eso de que la técnica esta en las manos. Está en el cerebro y depende de cómo de fuerte y rápida sea la señal cerebral. Todo lo que intentan hacer aquí es un proceso interno, no se trata de la información en sí, sino de cómo utilizan esa información. Gran parte de la enseñanza se fija más en el qué y no en el cómo, en el contenido y no en el proceso.Así, pueden tocar las cosas más sencillas y, si sabes como hacerlo, sonará precioso. I don't quite understand what he's saying about repetition. So I can't repeat a challenging line in order to be able to play it better? He said in one of the other videos that this is a music that you learn "by doing it."

bogtheforest this blew my mind, I think he wants you to learn music by hearing it in your head loudly and practice it mentally. The execusion is just the result of this process. „Do it, don‘‘t try“. Requieres a high level on your instrument. While children learn to play the instrument by repeating stuff, adults who already mastered their instrument should practice internally. thats what i think he meant.

I believe, based on my own experience, that DELIBERATE, SLOW practice that involves hearing/singing the line/motif/piece internally AND externally, works. Mindless,repetitive playing of a piece of music sloppily and incorrectly produces a sloppy, incorrect result. Kenny Werner talks about the idea of playing something slow enough to play it correctly and flawlessly; ditto the same approach with tackling digestible, practicable bits of music(break the music down into small enough phrases to apply the concept of relaxed, effortless, correct execution).
